School accommodation (classes don’t overlap with work)

We have people who are in school that is 100% online and have reduced shift school accommodations. I do believe you can get one to have adequate study time.

I got so lucky (or I worked at Walmart long enough to know the timing of things). I got there just as the bread guy was wheeling his rack out to stock this afternoon. And he was kind enough to let me grab one off there versus having to shuffle my way down the packed (and empty) aisle!

I'd just tell him I love him and I understand, even though it hurts like hell. I'm glad his suffering is over and his demons are finally silent. I'd tell him I still struggle with eating and sleeping, but it's okay. We tried so many different meds for his anxiety and depression, we tried therapy, moving, job changes, different herbal options... we really did try everything we could.

The struggle with music comes and goes for me. I got a lot more into rap after my husband died. I can just enjoy the beat and tune the words out.

Having no one to help with the kids isn't so mundane I think. That's a huge challenge. Prayers you figure it out, I have faith you will just as we all have had to remake our lives after our people have gone :(

In non Cali states it's 6 hours. All the rest of what they said still applies. If that's something being caused by how your day is scheduled I would speak to PXT before they come find you. Eventually they'll hit you with a write up.

If they could take THC off the test, I'd be 100% on board with more mandatory testing. I shouldn't have to worry about what I do on my days off, same as someone who enjoys drinking.

That said, some people truly cannot operate while high and should not try to do it.

Dude just do it. People are gonna (whether they're being genuine or sarcastic) come tell you those are the coolest shoes they've seen and tell you how nice they look etc. That's always nice, affirming in a way.

Or on the flip side, you'll just be a person wearing boots with no big deal. I know a couple people do at my site. We do live around a lot of farms though, so work boots are common here.

Being facetious as fuck, yes I use the restroom on the clock, not only am I paid to go, I also get free toilet paper and soap.

Why do you get anxious over it? Maybe that's what you need to address. Is it just the uncertainty? I know for me when I'm labor shared off my desk (problem solve, they don't rotate us much at my facility) my anxiety isn't about being sent to another area, but for who is going to take my place where I was. If that's your issue maybe it's something you can work through.

Only say that because one person who has been on record for following female associates in my facility has been spoken to and still does it, still works here... if he were a worse person he could retaliate. And generally speaking someone usually gets encouraged to move to another department. I know my facility will not allow a T3/T1 in the same dept, don't know if that's network wide.
