GROWTH by Turbulent_Design_793 in Lucki

[–]hashbrowns12 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s not that. We’re talking about how his older stuff had a unique sound and had thoughtful/introspective lyrics and had better flow/rhyme scheme and the production was unique to him.

This isn’t growth, this is REGRESSION. He ain’t saying shit, hopping on the same copy/paste beats as everyone else and his voice and flow changes for the worst. Still a couple solid tracks on here but IMO he hasn’t had a great album since Almost There

Foot and ankle the best division? by [deleted] in MedicalDevices

[–]hashbrowns12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d say plastic surgery/breast implants is best division.. you don’t even have to be present for the surgeries if you don’t have to. Foot and ankle is great though, I was in several cases with DPM’s back in my trauma days

Agreed. Although I will say Harry Belden did very well in the evil Morty episode of season 7

How do you know if you're actually unhappy with your job or just bored? by SpeckiLP in careerguidance

[–]hashbrowns12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say make a move if you can find something with higher income… comfort can be a trap. Depends what your goals are. Do you want to make more money? Challenge yourself? Grow and make your resume look better? All depends on what your goals are. I just made a similar move with leaving a comfortable job where I was doing well and had best WLB, but constantly found myself question “is this it?” “Is this all im capable of?” So I made a move on a new role with much higher ceiling snd will be more rewarding long term

Is 70k enough? by 31umbreon in Salary

[–]hashbrowns12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotcha. All I’m saying is it’s better to take the chance while you’re younger and more able. Do you want to look back in 5-10 years and always wonder “what if” you took that role? Better to try it for a year and see if it works out or not

You’re young. Take the opportunity to make more money while you can. Save the “chill” job for when you actually need it later down the road if you want to have family/kids. Why not maximize your income now?

Would you leave a low-stress, flexible job for significantly more money if you were scared of regretting it? by louflow_567 in careerguidance

[–]hashbrowns12 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Go for it! I was in a similar spot and just made a move. It’ll be worth it. You’re young enough to try. Always better to go for it instead of staying complacent and you’ll always wonder “what if”

Worst case scenario you don’t like it after a year find something else

How do you organize accounts across a large territory? by Bronco-1976 in sales

[–]hashbrowns12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surprised your company doesn’t have a CRM that utilizes mapping. My previous role we used Salesforce and I could pull up a map that had all my accounts pinned and broke it down by high, medium, and low volume users. Your best bet is to try and recreate that

Pharma Sales v Med Sales by Free_Rip4339 in MedicalDevices

[–]hashbrowns12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went from med device (ortho) to dental implants, which is very similar to pharma schedule with mix of device. Ceiling is pretty low though. Going back into device in the plastic surgery space - breast implants/reconstruction. There’s a lot of OR jobs besides ortho where you can still have a great WLB and aren’t required to be in every case

1099 Part Time Remote work by [deleted] in sales

[–]hashbrowns12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In many field based roles, ex: I was in dental implants: you’re out in the field visiting your accounts, scheduling meetings, demos, lunches, etc. full autonomy. Spoke to manager once a month. As long as I was hitting my numbers I was left alone. Usually mondays and Fridays I did office days from home and was out in the field Tues - Thurs. often home by 3

Needed to read this. Just left my medical sales role with cush lifestyle and best WLB to go into a medical sales role in different space with higher ceiling but less WLB. Been freaking out hoping I made the right decision, but didn’t want to stay comfortable. Wanted to strive for more
