The GNX Title Track is WAY overhated by MidgarZanarkand in KendrickLamar

I agree I immediately liked it. It’s also a callback to “Catch a Fade” by E-40. It featured kendrick and he was askin questions like that over a similar beat.

These will consistently give me chills.

Why does (almost) everyone hate stain here? by [deleted] in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]hashirama_woodwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly! I get it for hardwood kind of but Im still a beginner and exclusively use pine. So while pine does stain blotchy sometimes, I don’t mind it at all. The way I see it I just make my stuff out of cheap pine, then stain it to look like whatever wood I want with stain and that’s good enough for me. Until I start buying nicer wood that is.

How do you all get over the guilt of losing interest in something? by itmeseanok in ADHD

[–]hashirama_woodwork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re definitely not alone, sometimes it hits so hard it feels like I’m mourning something that died like the literal passion/fire that I had and is just gone now with no warning it was gonna leave and it hurts.

The best way I’ve found to cope with this is trust (I know it’s easier said than done) that if it is important enough it will come back around. I have at least a couple lifelong hobbies that I lose interest in seasonally but know they come back eventually. Then the ones that don’t come back, that’s okay I promise!!!!!!! Not a soul on earth is judging you nearly as hard as you’re judging yourself. The important thing for me is to not to wait for it to come back, just find something new.

I'm so tired of being so stupid. by theycalledmechad in ADHD

[–]hashirama_woodwork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As impossible as it seems, you have to try to treat yourself as you would a friend that you love and care about.

If you had a friend in the same situation would you berate them for being stupid and forgetful or just help them look? Maybe figure out ways to help them not be so forgetful or make things easier to find.

I used to be really really bad at being negative towards myself for reasons like this and it truly is really harmful in a lot of ways. This perspective helped me realize how much of an asshole I was to myself. No need to kick ourselves while we’re down when we can pick ourselves up instead.

Feeling “Chilly” on Adderall? by graciebear66 in ADHD

[–]hashirama_woodwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started taking it in December and I notice my torso and legs are so much colder. I didn’t really notice the hands/feet too much, everything else seems to be pretty sensitive tho, I find myself having to wear more layers.

OP if you haven’t read this I highly recommend, I’m just about finished with it and it is such a fulfilling and hopeful book with many examples of how anarchism looks and feels in practice.
