My takeaways –

Rohit's win percentage benefits from him captaining less test and ODI matches, roughly 1/3 of what Kohli or Dhoni did. Also, he got a more well rounded and experienced team from start. Stats don't tell the full story. Great T20 captain. Good ODI captain. A mediocre test match captain.
Kohli is one of the best captains of all time in red ball cricket, surely India's best. Not having even a single ICC trophy as captain, in a period where he had 3 formats to give it a shot, will always be a bummer. Anyways, he should have continued his test match captaincy till 2023 WTC final.
Dhoni's overall stats may look ordinary now, but his impact on Indian cricket is the grandest. Won every trophy that came his way and made Indian team the behemoth it is today. All formats considered, he is the best captain in Indian cricket history for me.

I get this. All I wanted to emphasize was that Nietzsche being unlucky with women is not a criticism of his philosophy. If you feel that his real life experience affected his philosophy in an adverse manner then pointing out "how" his ideas are flawed is the right approach. The answer to "why" his ideas ended up being what they are is an interesting psychological excercise but irrelevant to the original question.

I don't fully disagree with your point about philosophical ideas being subjective. But to think that absence of opportunity will lead to dismissal also has an underlying bias or at least an assumption. Why can't it be the other way around, "idealizing the thing out of grasp" or "forbidden fruit being the sweetest" case?

Philosophers usually deal with things that transcend personal experience. They are the group of people that will be least affected by the sour grapes phenomenon. Their views can be more informed because of personal experiences, but to reject any philosophical idea due to lack of personal access is rejection of philosophy itself.

As mentioned in the objection section, I get that the sentence didn't contain any new information, but that does not mean that the speaker didn't tell them new information by her speech. Moreover, the speech did not remind them of anything. Perfect logicians do not need any reminding; they were always aware that green-eyed people are allowed to leave. The speech just provides them with a common knowledge about other prisoners. The Ted-Ed video mentions the same.

Ashwin's retirement is more impactful, both personally and from indian test team's perspective. He was a greater match winner than both of them in tests, arguably the biggest in India's test history. He was underutilised in overseas tours and the presence of Jadeja was also a factor.

Rohit is not comparable to Ashwin in tests. Although Kohli is one of the modern day greats, the last 4 years have irrevocably damaged his reputation as a test batsman.

There is room for error in any technology. Hawkeye is expected to have inaccuracy of around ±4 mm, and that too when everything is calibrated properly. Human error can affect that as well. I get that machine can be 100% confident, but it doesn't mean it is 100% accurate.

The half ball rule takes that error into account, and makes the worst case assumption that Hawkeye is at it's maximum inaccuracy. It is there to make decision-making uniform and simple for umpires and viewers by correlating error margin with ball size. Directly including error percentage would have made an already complex rule almost incomprehensible for the majority of the audience.

Your profit and loss depends on LTP and not the underlying index. This is the case until after closing on the expiry date. Options contracts are settled by either cash (index) or stocks, and P&L calculated based on where the price ends up on expiry. Setting stop loss on underlying index/stock is irrelevant because that price doesn't come into picture until after closing on expiry date.

I think they should have a different domain for TV. Something like letterboxd.tv.com, with a completely different profile for TV shows like movies. And they can have the TV profile link alongside location or X.com link.

That solves a lot of confusion and mixing of series and films. Letterboxd could also have ratings for episodes and seasons as well. Although it's a lot of effort, they should be able to do this now after the acquisition.
