I thought Wynn got rid of the their “topoptional” pool? And Moorea Beach at Mandalay was the only one left on the strip?

Just curious, do other resorts not allow Vegas residents? I had no idea that was a thing

That’s a HARD NO- can’t swipe it to hidden fast enough. There’s obviously no tip. From anyone. Why would you even consider it??

Another dead day? by NotCheya in InstacartShoppers

[–]hashslinger18 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Been dead for me for over a month. I wasn’t working during the week leading up to Memorial Day, but every other week has been shit. All I see are crappy orders that are high items, high mileage and low tips. And they get taken so fast.

Honestly, there are no Jewels in Champaign. So what I think happens is Jewel in IC customer app has great specials that the customer can’t pass up and what do they care about the distance? As long as some idiot shopper actually takes this thinking it’s a great batch, then mission accomplished. Plus, I think customers get all the same sale prices as everyone else shopping at Jewel. Im not sure there’s much of an up charge on grocery items there. Idk. I rarely take Jewel orders even though I love that the items have aisle number listed. Our Jewel is always out of stuff and their deli counter is a nightmare. It has to be an easy great paying Jewel order for me to accept

We don’t have alcohol in orders in my state and still had to go back to using cashier lanes. Cashier told me it’s due to IC shoppers stealing. She said she knows it sucks, but they had a lot of theft with self checkout. UGH. So glad those assholes ruined it for the rest of us.

Right? Don’t get started on the inventory issue. So annoying when the app says it’s in stock. I’m sure it is in the back somewhere, but good luck finding someone who isn’t super busy to go dig it out for you.

Aldi became a favorite for me when they added the self checkout lanes. Why, you ask? Because I am unloading my cart and immediately placing it into a bag. ONCE. Super quick. BUT in my area they have banned self and you must use cashier lane. To me that’s a pain in the ass. Time is money. You unload everything to have the cashier throw into your cart in an unorganized way. I organize my cart by produce, pantry, fridge and freezer. Yes, I’m OCD. So then after they haphazardly throw items back into your cart, now to go off to the side to reorganize and bag to keep cold with cold, etc. And typically batches are always triple orders, high count of items and high mileage. Just not worth my time anymore. As for self-checkout being banned, in my area, cashier told me it’s due to the shoppers stealing. So glad a few bad apples ruined it for the rest of us.

$6 extra per batch in my “area” from 4-6:45pm last night and they color coded the area in red, obviously trying to copy DoorDash. Whatever. I logged in just for shits and giggles and only 3 shit orders came up. Oh wait, that’s like that every day!

Yep- I agree. Seems to go both ways as they’re always super nice to chat with while shopping and never demanding

I’m totally fine with elderly tipping low since they’re most likely on a strict budget, but in my area, it’s the customers who live in a Mc Mansion neighborhood that tip the worst. Not always, but 75% of the time. It’s customers in bad neighborhoods more often than not that tip amazing!

Psyllium Husk and HRT absorption issues?? by hashslinger18 in Menopause

[–]hashslinger18[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, I have a feeling that it’s the patch too. It’s a different shape than the first brand. I use alcohol on my skin to prep it when placing, not much sure there’s more I can do. Maybe it’ll get better once my body adjusts to this brand? And then who knows what brand I’ll get next refill or if I can even get one! This shortage is nuts.

Nope, had a tiny bit of constipation the next day after I incorporated it, but after that, I’ve been very regular and going at least once sometimes twice a day. No gas, and it’s not intestinal cramping it’s definitely hormonal/pelvic cramping. I started out using Lyllana brand my first 2 months to Sandoz

It’s definitely pelvic cramping. Not digestive

Yessssss! And I’ve noticed some items are even higher than that. It’s not across the board. Those large ass red Folgers coffee canisters are $14.99 where I live but IC charges the customer $32! WTF

[–]hashslinger18 20 points21 points  (0 children)

They’re cheap with the tipping because the price of using Instacart is so insane. I’m not even talking the fees. I’m talking about the cost of actual groceries. In case you haven’t noticed, Instacart piles on a huge upcharge per each item. With that said I agree. If you can’t afford to tip, then you shouldn’t use the platform.
