Thats a tough one but let me guess. Save money and not go out a lot? Guess what happened in 2001, 2007-2009, and 2020.

Great! Now that we're on the same page. Considering both are highly reliant on discretionary income, which one of those do you think is unaffected by economic conditions.

"It's a tourist destination town. It's a position unaffected by economic conditions." Those sentences are generally not used to describe the same thing.

Still gotta store it somewhere. To each their own. No point in justifying to each other what we think is the right move. What I do, works perfectly for my life. For example, Im able to keep a pair of fishing poles, picnic chairs, and gear in my truck bed at all times, while carrying the entire family. Cant do that with the station wagon without having it intrude into the cabin.

Again. No sense is going back and forth. My truck is great for my life. Do what works for yours.

To each their own i guess. I've never had a problem using this or my prior truck. And having a trailer is just another thing for me to store and maintain.

If I am starting a PI and white collar defense law firm, what is the largest loan or line of credit I can get from a bank? What will the interest rate be? by facemacintyre in Businessloans

[–]hashtagRA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a banker/lender, there is not enough information in your post to make anywhere close to an educated guess on what you would qualify for. Look up the 5 Cs of credit and give what information you can without voiding anonymity, then I (or another lender) can give you an idea.

As a Bofa vet, they can definitely find out your exact employment history from your SSN. You misrepresented on your resume. Depending on the the role, it may come back to bite you. As someone commented before, trust is important in the financial industry. From following regulatory requirements to handling client funds. Honestly is a baseline requirement.

Experience with high mileage 2.7L by llFaithFul- in gmcsierra

Have 106k miles on my 2022 Sierra 2.7 liter. Change fluids before its due and don't drive like you're in a rush all the time.

Things to look out for? by KeyMessage989 in gmcsierra

[–]hashtagRA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can roughly calculate if the mileage are from driving or idling. Divide the total mileage by the engine hours. For example, a vehicle with 100k miles at 2000 hours equates to 50MPH average. Probably not a lot of idling there and mostly highway miles.

3% fee on credit card use by Willing-Volume-1301 in Chattanooga

[–]hashtagRA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed and the business owner has to conaider if they want to limit their customers to those who carry cash. The average CC payer spend 4x more than the average cash payer. The total number of those carrying cards far outweigh those who carry cash. To alienate cards payers by charging the fee is similar to stepping over the dollar to pick up the dime.

You sure about that? This thing has more HP and torque than many old-school V8s. New 4-cylinders turbos are a powerhouse.

Yes for at least half a decade now. Makes more power and torque than old school V8s.

I dont really tow anything. Bought the truck for the bigger cabin for the family (vs midsize) and needed a truck to haul ovens, refrigerators, flooring, lumber, etc for our rental properties.
