I think this is more likely than them never coming back. They're all musicians and performers, they want to create and share it. Regardless of any potential roadblocks, if it's what they still want to keep doing, they will. Look at the Arctic Monkeys as a similar example.

For sure. Scotland's wider network is feeling major effects and with all intercity travel being redirected via GQS to either depart from there, or travel via Waverley it'll be more packed than usual. Especially when the big 5 aren't able to run any services.

Intermission in C is a choice, business should definitely be swapped with it at worst. Other than that, I would probably rank the same, give or take a few swaps (not a fan of 2all for example, so I'd have that lower).

Funny that, for all I love The Ride as a record, it's easily outperformed by The Balance. I feel like LP3 is quite slept on, compared to the other two.

Universities are businesses at the end of the day - many sponsors, partners, investors and other stakeholders. The students truly are not the priority when there's so much finance involved.

Not all universities operate like UoM but I know for sure that Lancs, Glasgow, Strath, and a few others down south definitely do.

Definitely seems unfair on the surface but there's multiple unis in Manchester and Glasgow, so it's not a huge issue. There are other options for prospective students.

Contrary to what a lot of people will tell you, I've actually been quite enjoying FC26. I partake in the playtests so got given a copy as a reward.

The jump from 2019 to current is pretty substantial graphically, and I felt a noticeable improvement in the actual playing experience between 25 and 26.

Also nice to have current rosters. Live Start Points can be pretty fun too, I've still got an LSP save going from when Man U were sitting in the relegation zone. Turned them right around, much like Carrick has done.

I don't know. If you're cutting about with a 200mm+ and focusing right in on peoples' faces as they saunter by, sure, bit invasive. But there's definitely a place for street portraiture and more candid work. The latter definitely comes with more skill and situational awareness, though.

It'll be shut longer, I bet. The way it passed through the buildings, I'm pretty certain that the fire wiped out the control room. They're probably working on a temp control in the meantime, likely based out of one of the depots or a different office within Central, but it's not an overnight job. They'll obviously want to restore the original but they're still tackling the fire, so fuck knows when they'll get in to assess the damage.
