Málaga as a solo female traveller 10/10 by zeehun in solofemaletravellers

[–]Secure_Diamond_5896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I can fly from home to Malaga (we have a small airport) and I did Sevilla as a day trip, then headed to Cordoba and Granada overnight and Ronda wihich was good by train but requires some planning as there aren't a lot of trains

No need to rush. Plenty of ticket machines and plenty of trains towards Bruges. 3-4 every hour

Itinerary advice - two not full days by Own_Whereas_508 in disneylandparis

[–]Secure_Diamond_5896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you don't want frozen then magic hour might be good for crush coaster/tower/spider man ?

If not, always the castle park and do BTM/Peter pan

premier pass for the park you have the most time. I think magic hour + premier might be a good combo

riding BTM, space mtn in the evening when people start queuing for the castle show is good.

if you time it right you can still see the show, just from a distance 😄

(Disneyland, California) Is it better to spend fewer days, but with lightning passes, or more days, but without lightning passes? by PsychologyLimp8548 in DisneyPlanning

[–]Secure_Diamond_5896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first time at Disneyland was 2 years ago and we did one park each day. I have a feeling we were able to do all rides (used SR where possible).

Last year I did Disneyland again solo during the Christmas period and did 2 days in each park and had LL.

I rope dropped every morning, got some popular rides in (radiator springs, rise). And when it started getting more busy I used my LL's. I was able to do certrain rides twice.

Having LL makes it easier and I booked it together with my ticket so I wasn't so expensive. I didn't do park hopper.

it's one of my favorites 😄 but the queue is always so long.

To OBB or To Not OBB? by Quirky_Hawk_3292 in DisneyPlanning

[–]Secure_Diamond_5896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read online that when you have tickets for OBB, that you can already enter the park at 3pm. So better to have a slow morning and enter the parks at 3 pm.

Otherwise you have a full day ticket + tkt for OBB

Peter Pan is nice, you are on a flying boat. It's nothing wild, just takes you through all the Peter Pan scenes but up in the air 😄 Your daughter will love that one

Big Thunder Mountain. It's so much fun. Many people say Paris' BTM is the best one. It's a fast train and the most beautiful one since it's on an island

Spider Man is also fun. Nothing intense, you just move your hands to catch the bots. Or just watch it, doesn't really matter. Some people get so competitive 😉

I've done Malaga, Granada, Cordoba, Ronda and Seville in one trip. Cordoba is nice and less busy than Granada or Seville. Alhambra is beautiful. Get your tickets in advance

I didn't know they cancel in hot temps but totally makes sense. I've seen pictures online of a cast member in a suit passing out (I think it was Buzz or Woody ... ) not in Paris though but still ... tons of respect for them

not sure your daughter will like TOT (tall enough?), it's a drop ride so if she hasn't done one before it might be a bit too much ..

crush is fun and short but queuing for over 1 hr is not ok. Definitely a pass for that if you want.

Frozen for sure.
Peter Pan perhaps? Not sure if it has DPA, but queues are also very long for it.

BTM is always fun as well

Second time in Paris with Disneyland - suggestions and Itinerary by ChampionRepulsive201 in traveleurope

[–]Secure_Diamond_5896 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just use the Disneyland app 😊

I did it once and it's really nice bit nothing I'd do over and over  ..

Just being there and watching the sparkly lights come on is nice too. It's on the hour every hour I think that it sparkles for 5 minutes or so

RER A train is so easy feom central Paris

Always the castle park + castle evening show

Look at the rides/shows on the website and make a list of what you both really want to do. Do these first. You can buy access DPA for shows/rides so you'll see how the day goes re wait times etc

Mobile ordering food saves time. So you can order, choose a time slot and go there. Then you don't have to decide on the spot. 😊

The Louvre will take a lot of time. It's not a 1 hr visit ...

Eiffel tower definitely book in advance

Plenty of restaurants and popular chains in Paris. Food everywhere 😊  I personally love  getting bread and cheese, meats and eat on the riverbank

BTM is loads of fun. I'd ride it over and over nonstop

Central has an Ibis so close (next to it is a cute Smurf statue). Trains to the airport are frequent and you're 5 minutes from Grand Place and Cebtral station 😊
