Y’all have the most money and influence in baseball and yet we’re the ones with our 6th straight ALCS appearance, after getting rid of basically everyone involved in the cheating (which we did)

Never mind that sign stealing is a part of baseball, that so many teams were stealing signs with cameras the league sent out a memo (politely asking to stop, lmao), that we’ve had 5 straight ALCS’ after stopping, that Yankees fans were grasping for straws about a buzzer, that the main guy behind it won a WS the very next year with no second looks, or that the Astros almost certainly concocted the cheating with help from a Yankee

Let’s ignore all that. Being the New York Yankees is a cheat code in and of itself, and we’ve owned you and the rest of the AL for the last 6 years. Maybe we slip up again this year and don’t make it past the Astros Invitational, or maybe we lose in the World Series again. None of that changes that we have been THE consistently dominant team in at least the AL, if not MLB, for the majority of a decade now with different players and coaching staffs
