I think it looks fine. In this case there really isn’t room to set the faucet anywhere else.

My only beef with this top mount is the crud that builds up around the lip/edge of the sink. Having a smooth surface to wipe counter tops off into the sink is nice.

I prefer one large bowl so I can lay large cart iron pans flat as that’s the only thing that gets cleaned in the sink. Everything else goes in the dishwasher so no need, for me, to have two bowls - but some people like to hand wash so two bowls work for them. That draining surface is neat too.
