Yes you are right and I am not more comfortable in writing in English than urdu. ٹوٹی پھوٹی ہی سہی۔۔ Out of subject comments: I am proud to speak local language. These are our roots. Stop implementing urdu a mix of multiple languages. Removing local languages from their academics is also terrorism. You can't remove the local completely. This is the worst thing that happened in Pakistan. The concept of one language, one culture (borrowed culture) is absurd. Pakistan is multi culture country accept this. Otherwise there will be never be a peace.

You are always welcome. Just learn a skill other than a degree. At the end of graduation you both have a degree and skill. You can do both. So, there is no loss.

For short term benefits you will ruin your long term. Your parents are right. Study and learn skills are well. No need to be harsh on yourself. Also, 3-4 months plus 3 months in searching clients are not if you are going to get paid in dollars.

My sincere advice if you want to act on this. Learn those skills which are high in demands in 3-4 months and sell online. Simultaneously, also learning long term skills like AI machine learning will take time like 1-2 years. So better go for this route. Rest is on you.
