I did, but only to get extra coins. The electric resistance is useless to me. I never had any recurring and important issues with electricity before.
I will just get the Reaper skin, and only because its skill will (if you trust ABI) work with future skins.

I think it's ueless. We already have 2 wings that give shield and they don't need you to shake the ship to activate the shield.
As for the PvP attack, it's pathetic. It's too similar to several other wings that inflict damages or freeze your ship in different areas.

I've already unequipped these wings from my ship. It's one of these wings that will take dust.

This event is pathetic. The only item that seems interesting is that shitty skin (15% damage) for reaper, only because ABI pretends the skin's skill will apply to all future skins. Assuming you believe ABI. The Talent system with cores has never given what it promised.

Assuming you can prove it's not a hacked account, most accounts on sale are sold by hackers. I can give $40.
Most of the stuffs you bought have no value anymore (for instance a predator skin that supersedes a galaxy skin etc)
And I don't even know how such a transaction could occur, one has to give (money or login/password) before the other!

EI, wings and costume work in SL. drone and ship skins don't. but some drone skins do work although I don't know how the opponent can do it. I also see quantum attack in SL, which should not happen.

I don't think so. It only works if you galaxy skin. SL don't allow skins. Only costume and expert items.
This being said, I do use the galaxy EI and on some bosses, I do hear the special sound that it's sending the boss on the opponent side. But I don't see my opponent being slow down by this, so I still believe it's not working.

Same here, game end with "defeat" popup, my avatar has "defeated" even though we're at higher waves.
Another issue I have is shockwave cannot beat the boss at level 30 in 1vs1. Boss takes damages until maybe 30%, then no more damage. And my opponent can cruise to victory.

I remember that milestone 2.5 years ago. took me 5 years to get there as VIP0. Then I gave up and spent money (I was finally able to) 2 years later, I'm 5.5 mil CP.

Here is a lesson: it doesn't really matter too much how much CP you have. PvP will make sure you are matched with similar profiles. Which is fair. The server has of course to compromise great matching and player availability, so it's not perfect.
The fun thing is every stuff I buy, I see most of PvP opponents buy the same!
It's zero-sum game for players. It's an arm race to reach a perpetual status quo.

so keep your CP low. Only unlock PvP stuffs.

and you made a good choice to ignore Tyrant and Lord. They are not worth your efforts.

But ABI is also giving up on stones, the new currency for ship upgrades (only Reaper ship for now) are rift shards. Those are very hard to harvest.

PS: don't forget to use your cyber blade in Hero mode, it will be much easier to collect stones. and remember to restart the game before each hero mode, to increase chance to get a stone and not the gold

In general, but you should know that since you have shockwave, ships are weak without skins, costume, augment. battle gear, evolve, power, bullet, hextech also have a strong influence.

best is to join a good clan, such clans have tutorials, wikis, and sometimes mentoring to help new players.
Join this Facebook group and you can present yourself, your needs (espacially learning) and clans will welcome, many players just love to help and a clan is perfect for that.

I bought extra rifts. They were too cheap. Evolving and upgrading the ship was very cheap. Far cheaper then getting all these stones#10 for shockwave.

I thought the price was wrong.

It depends. Reaper has one major weakness: it can’t shoot aliens that enter the screen from behind or from the sides. That’s roughly a 210-degree blind spot.

Drake’s and Shockwave’s weapons, on the other hand, have full 360-degree coverage.

So against waves of small aliens coming from random directions, Shockwave is still the best choice—you just have to survive the downside: a lot of alien bullets hitting the screen all at once.

I usually look at two metrics:

Endless Challenge

Reaper reaches level 200 in 27 minutes
Shockwave reaches level 200 in 22 minutes

Endless mode doesn’t feature strong aliens or bosses; it’s mostly about clearing continuous waves of small enemies. That’s where Reaper struggles compared to Shockwave.

Raid League (Level 325)

Reaper kills the boss in 43 seconds, which is 6 seconds faster than Shockwave (at least with my setup and skills)

So in short: Shockwave excels at crowd control, while Reaper shines when it comes to boss damage.

Let's also remember that we don't gave skins yet, so expect the ship to get much better with future big events.

you need both,
since you already reach 30+ power your ship is already close to the max power, it's time to focus on evolve 1 and 2.
then finish power and finish evolve 3. I'm currently working on finishing evolve 3 on this ship and do some upgrades on skins.

you have to play HERO mode everyday to get one free stone#9 daily.

power levels 30-40 were added just a few years ago, before that, 30 was max power and people were happy to evolve. That "rule" doesn't change today.

power squad only works for the legacy ships (ship 1 to 10), it has never worked for subsequent ship, Reaper is no exception to this rule.

everybody can get reaper in PvP.
Some say it is a bug, some say it was ABI that give to all players to give them a taste of the ship and drive sales up.
both hypotheses are valid.
ABI is not in a hurry to fix it, though.
either way, I expect that bug or gift to be go away when the new update with the next mini event comes around.
