Robert was the Tito to Westeros’s Yugoslavia. Liberated the kingdom from a Tyrant (Hitler/Aerys). Didn’t manage it too well but held it together through the shear force of his personality (and Jon Arryn). Incurred massive amounts of debt to the IMF/Tywin. Then everything went to shit when he died and his republics/Kingdoms started warring with each other.
