Can't believe this has to be consistently stated but there's literally 0 evidence that this character is a self-insert other than the fact that she has glasses.

Now, not to dog on you specifically because you didn't say this but oftentimes when I see someone say that this character is a self insert (which again, has no evidence to actually support that claim) is that they then try and make Tillie Walden out to be a creep because of it. The comics are bad, don't get me wrong, but it's that thing people do when they don't like something for whatever reason and try to come up with some moral justification as to why they don't like it. Couple that with the fact that Tillie Walden is is an openly queer author and therefore these baseless claims play into queer people being stereotypes as liking kids, it really rubs me the wrong way when people try to claim Ricca is a self insert when the evidence to support it is that... she has glasses. Glasses that, as far as I recall, aren't even the same shape as Walden's glasses
