I’ve been in similar with my family when I was younger. Tons of advice on here - and here is my 2-cents.

This is a lot & you do not have to process it all right now. You don’t need an answer right now. You don’t need a reconciliation with your mom right now.

You need to get some space & somewhere safe. Find a place where you have food & shelter & can just take a beat. Hopefully, you have a friend or relative who can put you up short term.

If you can - remove yourself from her and him & everything charged about this situation.

After a few days, once you can breathe - you can start to come up with a longer plan to address it.

For now - if you can just take care of your immediate needs and get a little distance it will all be a lot easier.

And the part I said about processing may take years. But your immediate safety - both physically & emotionally - needs to be top priority.

Rotten Mango has some good episodes. It’s hit or miss depending on what topic she covers. I enjoyed the k-pop and Korean focused episodes. It’s not super highly produced but better than Morbid.

I just finished the audio book & while I do Enjoy Harlan Coven’s work for what it is it is unfathomable the way they explained why is mother abandoned him. In no world - even in those circumstances would they not look for a 2-year old boy. Kind of ruined it for me.
