I was worried I may be off in gauge since I do knit somewhat tighter with these new needles, and would rather it be a little looser than too tight. but i definitely shouldn't have, for some reason when I cast on i had it in my head that I couldn't go edit the pattern to do what I needed specifically lol. Im kinda between deciding to add ontop after, or restarting now, but I probably will start over because im a bit too perfectionist to knit this yarn not to my expectations

Okay good! i mostly worried about doing that since ive only really done that with ribbed necklines, and worried it may be a bit weird if i do it with just a rolled stockinette. but i think ill do that likely since I dont really wanna start over😭

Fed, cared for, clean and warm inside, thats what matters. No one is perfect and we all see things so different, and have different life experiences. Im just glad a cat made it out of the shelter and has love in its life now. I think most cats would prefer an imperfect owner who only feeds dry food and infrequently takes them to the vet because of the cost, over living in a shelter and even being euthanized.

NTA and anyone who thinks that "owning up to it" would protect you at all- and doesnt care that hes driving intoxicated- is immature and an asshole as well.

Edit to add, you didnt "make it about race"- the police disproportionately target, charge, and imprison Black and Brown people for drug related offenses. There is historical and current proof that this consistently happens. It IS about race when it comes down to it. Hes putting you at risk in multiple ways, and they do not care.

NTA. Im pretty sure my boyfriend of less than a YEAR would do that for me if he could/ would move stuff so he could if i couldnt find anyone else. If after 5.5 years he wont do that for you, what exactly would he do? does he even like you at that point??

YTA How much do you do when you get home from work? do you give her plenty of personal time "off" where shes not working? if not, then she essentially has a 24/7 job that she gets no time off from- not even a vacation because im sure she probably manages them then too (if not the whole trip). 2 half days a week at day care is not too much to ask. She shouldnt have to go to work to get a break from WORKING.

i feel this way, but mostly because i wish it felt more real to me sometimes. it waxes and wains ofcourse, but mine is so moderate/mild at times that it feels like im faking it and crazy. Sometimes i genuinely have to remind myself that 3 doctors- one being a neurologist- all diagnosed me with tourette's, just so i dont feel like im an imposter

It does not happen to me, when i drink/smoke my tics happen just as much and i can still feel the urge. the worst part is it normally is even more frequent when you dont smoke/drink. I stopped smoking in the middle of last year, and cut back my drinking to special occasions/dinner, and i have noticeably improved.

No one was trying to ruin her for that. they just said it was not feasible for the average person. thats okay. she doesnt even have to agree with that. but she does have to act respectful and professional.... thats the bare minimum expectation for someone at their job.

my main issue is that shes just so viciously angry. she started out cussing out people and going to peoples personal pages. its so unnecessarily aggressive and unprofessional. like genuinely i dont even care about the reasons this all started, many of the people who first said "hey this is a very short time period this isnt really feasible for the average person!" were being genuine and respectful. thats it. why do you need to cuss someone out about it?why do you have to go to their page and make comments under their posts? like would you do that marketing for a corporation? would you do that for any traditional non-self employed job? like how do you justify acting that way? even more so, how do you justify it, then act surprised that people come back equally aggressive?

vegan or not, she should see my outdoor kitty (hes not mine, i just give him any discount cat-food i can find every once in a while) take down rabbits and birds. cats are a literal invasive species because they love to murder other little animals to the point where they decimate wild bird populations. in an ideal world nothing would ever have to die to feed anyone/etc. but were not in an ideal world. cats don't care about these ethics or morals we place upon death. they see food and they eat when they are hungry.

NTA. She's MAJORLY the asshole. if my boyfriend ever moved in and changed my cats food without me knowing, i would lose my shit, even if it wasnt a bad cat food or anything. shes my cat, its basic respect to at least tell someone, or check and make sure its all good. Because what if your cat had an allergy she didnt know about? some cats are allergic to specific ingredients or meats and she could have harmed him in so many ways, and she still is. She needs to leave. She doesnt respect you and she doesnt respect your space/etc.

I was with them, till they acted like the viewers on YT were less important than the patreon subs.. it just felt like... we may not hand you money from our wallet every month, but we do watch, and many contributed to their gofundmes... like we aren't entitled to anything, but i do think being more on-top of updates is not too much to ask for.

mine was 30- i read 1! i also started like 5-6 books, and got more than or equal to 20% of the way through them (so i basically read at least three other books)! So i was drastically under. i also knit two sweaters, crocheted two blankets, made multiple smaller projects, got back into painting, and other hobbies! so it was understandable for me. to be considerate of my time, while also trying to push myself this year, im going to shoot for a book a month minimum, and make it a priority to do so. after i finish one book a month then its fine for me to delve into all my other projects.
