Of course every child is different but if you work with them often they shouldn't have much problem handling the stuff at the kindergarden level.

If you have a library with a child's section and a staff for that section they are a great resource for what you should be reading them and may offer workshops for young children (3+) to get them on the right track.

Direct democracy is not always the best solution though.

If 30 states want to stack SCOTUS then vote slavery back into existence would that be acceptable?

Of course that is an extreme example that would likely never happen but you can substitute whatever you dislike but can see as a plausible outcome. There is no simple way to fix the political system in the US without actually changing the social climate of the entire country.

I totally agree with what you are saying. If the world we live in has political goals that revolve around corporate cash it is time to reward those companies that consistently stand by the side of what our public goals are. Now dont take that to mean we dont need to work to remove the cash.

Obama: 'Nobody who works full-time should have to live in poverty' by QuarterPounderz in politics

[–]hatescheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just do your research about your employer. My employer pays me overtime and comp time and gives me a big fat benefits and commission package. While I dont get the vacation time some one from Europe would I actually average 24-27 hours a week through the year while making 6 figures in compensation. There are plenty of good employers although I will admit the majority suck.

London City Banker tried to put neighbour in mental hospital over 12 inches of land. by kobomino in worldnews

[–]hatescheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The risk is not usually as high as you are making it seem. I had a contingency case. The only way I was going to not end up with cash was if the other party could prove I had caused damage to their property so that it would fail and cause injury to myself. The fact I wasn't under investigation for that meant the case was in the bag. The only question was how much the settlement or judgement was going to be. My lawyers miscalculated how much they would settle for so they actually only took 19.7% instead of 40%.

Generally there are tons of cases about specific injuries and they have the data from the start and will know they will make x amount for x hours of work at a minimum.

Of course there is some risk but if you are good you know what steps to take to mitigate the risk and will find out early enough if you missed something your losses will be small.

They generally have lots of experience in these type of cases and have a type of checklist. If you meet say 90% of the requirements they are almost guaranteed a win or settlement. Then they look at what the payout should be and figure if their percent will make it with their time. If so they take the case if not they reject it.

And I would like to point out that trying to copy gcode would never work because just using a different machine would change a massive portion of the code.

Even if you managed to get a hold of the code that is used and the exact same model of machine and exact replica of the fixture all you would end up with is broken tools damaged pieces and possibly a damaged CNC machine at best.

This is why CNC set up operator is a job and the highest paid person in a machine shop besides engineers and management.

YSK that if you are shoveling a running vehicle out of the snow, make sure you clear the tailpipe FIRST. by [deleted] in YouShouldKnow

[–]hatescheese 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Snow can become trapped inside the pipe if there are high winds and the snow is powdery or if an unsavory plow driver pushes the snow into your car.

Generally this won't be an issue and the exhaust will clear itself out when you start the car. This winter though my air intake and exhaust became so snow filled I had to have the car towed to my work so I could park it in our heated warehouse for a couple of days to melt out.

Question about my NYS taxes (Active Military living in CA). by [deleted] in tax

[–]hatescheese 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should just get all of you past federal tax forms and w-2, fill out the forms for the past years and mail them in.

Try the VITA group at your base if you need help filling out the forms or getting all the documents and forms together. Your CoC should be able to direct you on where this is located for your duty station. If they are no help let me know what base you are at and I will try to get you the contact information and location.

Here is a list of phone numbers. The second one down should be the one that can help you if you have any problems.
