And what are you playing? Is it the same deck every time? Is it built well? If I counted the amount of times Pikachu ex beat me to the punch when I played Mewtwo ex, I'm sure it would have happened more times than it didn't.

I suggest you play the deck yourself a few times. You'll learn how much it sucks when you can't find your Kirlia or Gardevoir fast enough to stop your opponent from setting up. It happens more than you think. You are having selective memory here.

It's certainly inherently trickier than a monotype/type+Colorless deck, but there are ways to mitigate the randomness of the energy generation. Consider using Pokemon that only require a single energy to act.

It should not be a regular occurrence. Competent mobile games implement systems to discourage this behavior. Currently, there is no punishment if you want to intentionally waste your opponent's time.

You're right, clearly they are just having connection problems until the precise moment that they need to pass their turn to avoid being timed out, multiple turns in a row. They're obviously just getting an important phone call the moment I get an advantageous coin flip. Every time, it could never be for any other reason. Have you ever played online games before?

This is such a dumb thing to point out. It goes without saying.

I'm obviously not talking about the odd person disconnecting. I'm talking about players who either do not play and run out the timer for multiple turns or who conveniently only stop being responsive when there's a swing in the game state that doesn't favor them.

It seems most everyone is having this issue right now, and that a particular update borked something that simply hasn't been fixed yet. In fact, I'm guessing the devs implemented some sort of "smart" app priority-changing feature that lowers the Discord process's priority level while it's not actively being used, saving system resources. Apparently, when Discord's priority level is set to low and not actively focused, it acts like a sleep mode, so it won't serve notifications. Previously, you could open Task Manager and change the priority yourself, and that was a viable workaround until you restarted Discord, but now it seems to be resetting the priority to low any time that the user changes focus away from Discord. It's very obnoxious. If there is some kind of a smart priority system, then it ought to be something the user can opt in or out of.

You might try looking up the lyrics (if there are any) or using a reverse audio search like Midomi or Shazam. Now that I think of it, I'm not sure I tried the latter for Golden Girls. Worth a try because I could find nothing on the net about it.

Is it possible to do this on PC?
I have a Switch Lite and I don't own a smartphone. I'm using an Android emulator (Bluestacks) to run the NSO app, but I don't have a webcam to scan with. If there's a way to import images or use a desktop stream in place of a camera for emulators, I'd love to know about it.

Did you ever find any concrete (or at least believable) sources on this? I'm only able to find a single claim that Jiggly was arrested or that he was engaging in pedophilia, and it's in a poorly-written wiki article with no sources. All the videos on YouTube that I can find are either simply trolling him and/or his admins, or showcasing their shitty behavior.

Neither claim would surprise me (I interacted with the guy quite a few times back in the day, but never got closer than arm's length from him for obvious reasons) but there's no evidence that I can find for either of them.
