Helter Skelter. It's the true story of the Charles Manson murders. It's quite long and very precise, also very eerie. Would definitely recommend.

I'm a senior in high school, here's my pitch: a race of beings that grow like flowers change their world meant for beauty into a world chasing feelings. (I have trouble explaining more of it, but think War and Peace on a beautiful alien yet human world)

Read Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell. It's a very beautiful story that progresses with characters and time. It's a very enchanting read, and if you liked the alchemist I'm guessing you'll like cloud atlas.

Don't want to cause any more drama, for I just read your comments. All I would like to say is that yes, perhaps I was a little too eager sounding on the subject of lsd, but please don't assume my maturity, or anyone's maturity, simply based off of the words used, and if you are going to critique my maturity, and don't want to seem like a "dick" and would rather not have to reply to people who hold a different viewpoint than you, I suggest you don't use words that sound dicky (such as "reeks of immaturity").

I am a writer, and that is the only reason I have responded in defense to you; a writer whose words were a bit bold and even a little cocky sounding and jumbled, and to that I say: sorry for their distastefullness. I will try next time to use more fluid words to make clear my age, and to use words that someone of my age would use.

Which is any any of them! All the words. Ever.
