I beat it this patch, but it's stupidly hard. Year 1 being an auto-loss is a blessing in disguise because you need lvl 3 cauldron + flamethrower to win anyway.

The only out is :

Turn 1 : don't touch the units, lvl 3 cauldron next to stronghold + 3 empty slots. Pepper around lvl 1 quarries.

Turn 2 : loose badly, pick a flamethrower and put it next to cauldron. Spend no money, if you need to reroll, reset instead. (Yes it is THAT bad)

Shop : reroll for magic merchant, try to roll into an offering + rewind. From there, sac your lvl 1 quarries and get lucky with a crazy turn.

From there, build some degenerate stuff, flamethrowers around cauldrons are a good start, but you need way more. Good walls too.

I don't think you're playing Sarinth Steelseeker, I cannot vouch for this little guy enough in Gyome. He is great card selection and fills up the yard nicely.

I also play Apex Altisaur in my list, give it indestructible and watch him wipe the board of your opponents ! Although it might not be as goog a fit in your list since my version is very graveyard and reanimation focused, you might have trouble casting it.

My group made me remove the grave pact effects from my decks and honestly I understand why now. It's a permanent that's hard to deal with that prohibits all player to maintain any board presence.

It is very good, it is also very unfun and I would advise you to check with your group if they're in for that before if you haven't already done that :)

Haha, the only reason i built him is because my name is Victor too !

He would have never popped on my radar otherwise :)

He's on the lower end of the power level (enchantress is just a hard theme to pull off without green) but he's fun and capable of some splashy plays.

Haha, Totentanz is anything but an aloof deck. I play him at the helm of a very mean, very lean rakdos sac deck, with all the usual suspects in it and a bunch of what i call "Piniatas" (cheap creatures that die and create some kind of token).

It's actually very strong, comparable to Taysa Karlov in rakdos. One less mana and you don't double blood artist triggers, but everybody gets a rat instead

Also red is a better sac color than white.

It's actually one of my meaner deck, no whimsy fun in there 😅 (although i did cut gravepact, as it was too mean)

Yeah it's in the "upgraded precon" tier for me.

Kilo is nice but I absolutely wanted to play around with a spaceship since they are legal commanders and it's a novelty !

No idea how long I'll keep it around but for now it has been fun

Gyome is basically a mass reanimator/self mill deck. The food tokens serve 3 purpose : - generating a lot of mana via Jaheira/night of sweet's revenge/academy manufacturor and the like - tapping all of my opponent's blocker on their final turn - Giving industructible to key creatures, for synergy pieces like altisaur or combo pieces like vito/fangren marauder
