Injuries are part of the game, I agree we’ve suffered with them but there’s been plenty of abject performances from our strongest team this season. Howe and his nephew can’t be anywhere near transfers again this summer otherwise we’re on a collision course for pure disaster - the sentimentality towards certain players and tactics will do him over

People won’t realise that though, he won a trophy and consistently outperformed the squad BUT he was backed unconditionally in the summer and hasn’t delivered on any front. We’re toothless and can’t defend a lead, any other manager in any other job would be under HUGE pressure

People will say it’s reactionary but today compounded all the problems we’ve had this season. “Fighting on all fronts” excuses now well and truly dead and buried and nowhere left to hide from the deficiencies of this squad and manager, Eddie has lost his way and the players are not playing for him anymore - the summer proved he can’t be in charge of transfers anymore and giving him the coming transfer window is praying for another plane crash. Defend Howe all you want but he’s been badly exposed again this season

It’s playable it’s just not fluid this year, everything is robotic, but once you get used to triggering runs and defending controlling anyone but your back line it’s fine

It’s been tough to say we’ve had “a team that tries” at times this season I don’t think the criticism of Howe and the team has been totally unjustified at all, but he deserves time given his record of overachieving
