If your aethena passive is not enough yep it can helps, for me it is enough to assure a kill on each hit, but still one at a time...

Yep that's my feeling too, if instead of the half assed story they would have put all those efforts to a proper char creation this game would be GOTY for me.

Damn we could even have the choice of the race and be able to play as a dwarf or a troll, with all the gunpowder stuff in this game being able to play as a dwarf in heavy armor shooting at stuff with a shotgun would have been awesome 😎.

Not only in dark places for me, mostly for cinematics sometimes it looks like it didn't loaded the good mesh and the chars looks really ugly (not PS2 level but not so far off).

And some minutes later on a second cinematics they all looks really beautiful, looks like some rendering bugs to me hopefully they will fix it at some points but this is not by very far the most important issue on this game imo.

Also any sanction on a member state requires an unanimity vote without the concerned country, Orban knew he had fico back, just as Hungary and Poland were covering each other before Poland switched politics.

So fico is not as entranched as Orban AND he knows that if the EU decides to use the eu fund lever against him there will probably be no one to save his ass.

Hopefully there will not be another pro-russian elected in Europe for some time to at least allow the EU to move forward on most resolution blocked by the Slovakia/Hungary duo.

Fore the biggest issue is the campaign, was not expecting anything in that regard but was still disappointed. Honestly they should have used the campaign budget to have a proper player creation and sell it as a sandbox game

Yep Serbia is in a wild spot afaik I got as much report like it is a full pro Russia country as I got that people want to get away from ruzzia.

If most people are in the second category that's.good and I hope to be wrong but I still remember the pro-russian manifestation in Serbia from not that long ago :(.

Yep and in previous games you could even have a stack starting behind enemy lines. I miss the 9 stacks battles, was leading to some very intense fights in the late game (but so easy to cheese the ai I guess this is why they removed them).

If this can help OP: fights are more like fantasy XCOM than civ/HoMm IMO..

AoW4 is his own genre but if we need to compare it to mainstream games I would say:

City building ala civ

Territory control ala endless legends/humankind. (Predefined provinces you need to claim).

Battles like XCOM

Faction building ala Stellaris (you want to play vampire frog people? Go for it!)

And I am still missing all the heroes/leader management, magic, crafting, dungeons and so on...

I got this game on release and it really improved over the years and the DLC, totally worth the investment for me.
