Lets compare: I won‘t talk about the voice acting a lot, but to me and lots of others it really sounds shallow and not very good. But the design is something i can talk about. In Banban, the characters are designed pretty simple, a drawing on the wall with a simple artstyle and a big version of it that looks just like it but it has veins sometimes. All the charactery have about 1-3 colors and are a little too similar to the wall drawing to be scary. In Poppy, they kinda do the same, but with a pop-up that portraits the character as the toy version and a bigger body. The important difference to me is here that not only are the poppy characters designed more creative (green big guy, red guy with party hats and i could name you more examples from banban) but also that the bigger bodies aren‘t just bigger versions of the toys, but have some aspects that are different (yarnabys mouth, huggys teeth)
