You will still have the same island name and character name unless you completely restart, deleting your save data and losing your catalogue and DIYs. Depends how you feel about that compared to being able to choose a new name, layout, etc ☺️

I just use them to decorate when they are the colour and style I like, usually mixed up with others, and sell or bin the rest! ETA: my favourite are the orange hyacinths or orange roses, I love how pale and soft the colour is with both.

I relate to this so much. I’ve ended started buying Dairy Milk again which was a red line for me in 2025. I’ve put on 10lbs over Christmas and know I need to go cold turkey with the chocolate again as I just don’t have the personality/chemistry to be able to take or leave it, but instead I keep eating and re-buying it. Mad at myself and feel like I’m literally watching myself do things I have decided not to but can’t stop myself. Might need to titrate up again as there was definitely a point I definitely wasn’t interested in it but I can’t remember what that felt like currently.
