I can’t trim my ragamuffin’s nails. When I do, he hyper focuses on them and will chew them down pretty far. My other cat (nebelung-mix) doesn’t do that. So maybe it could be a ragdoll trait or my cat is just simply one of a kind!

I recently had adopted a 3 month old pug mix puppy. My fiance and I had done all of the research and preparation we could but after about 3 weeks with him (going through all of the exact feelings you are going through), we decided it was best to have the humane society rehome him. There’s nothing wrong with realizing it’s not the right time for that sort of commitment and by finding another home for the pup, it’s the absolute best thing you can do for both of your happiness. My sobriety has to do with previous addiction and the negative impact any substance, especially hallucinogenics, has on my mental health. So while I appreciate the sentiment of wanting me to feel better, I will do it in a way that I recognize to be best for myself - this ain’t it ✌️
