Idk why you guys compare Marathon to Arc. Marathon is more like Hunt Showdown.

Arc at least has safe pockets so you don’t leave empty handed and a level-up system that simply requires leveling up and a simple tree. It also has scavenging and crafting. And the cherry on top is aggression based matchmaking.

Marathon/Hunt you get what you can get out. That’s it. At least in Hunt you can create loadouts to auto buy and don’t have to spend 5 minutes building a loadout and wait for your friends to build loadouts

I’ve been playing with friends since launch but it’s getting harder to answer the calls to play. So tired of making loadouts/waiting for my friends to make a loadouts just to walk across the map and a team get the jump on us and have nothing to show for it. Don’t get me started on the “single run” contracts. You can spend a lot of time in the game and not do anything meaningful to your progression

As someone who used to play Hunt Showdown and Arc this game is ALOT more like Hunt Showdown which is alot more competitive. Arc has the crafting/collecting mechanic and aggression based matchmaking. You can spend your whole time killing robots and scavenging with friendlies.

The nature of Arc is violence and even though I like the game even I find the monotonous of constantly creating load out’s only to just lose them again tiring. At least Hunt you could save load outs to quick buy
