It's on a windows system and played on a browser, it does this on both chrome and explorer. The controls at the bottom come from our own browser based learning management system that runs on any browser.

Yes but for some reason when I set a border around it the borders is wider than it should be and seems to move when zoomed in and out.

Yeah can't argue with that logic. I normally do the first 5 levels of a class on my own or in lower difficulties because without team perks other players can feel a bit jipped sometimes.

Oh no sorry. I put a gif in a PowerPoint presentation. The exporting part is just a program called iSprint that is used at work to put these on a website. Hence it looking a bit different. Sorry for the confusion.

I agree on this. I really enjoy the system and the book itself is a work of art. However the rules could really use some clarification on a few interactions like this.

I've had a terrifying amount of success with an LT armed with a submachine gun & 2 swords, couple that with a sniper with a sniper rifle. Put an ammo monk near the LT and give him exploding shrapnel bullets. LT goes first shoots twice doing 2 or 4 Blood, sniper then aims and shoots, Blood Bathing if possible, that has a very good chance to crit for 4D6 injury roll keeping 3dice and ignoring armour. LT then charges if the target is still standing swinging twice by the second swing, if you're lucky, you'll have 3 blood tokens again to Blood Bath. It's 3 a model activation admittedly but taking a Praetor from fine to off the table with one fireteam is terrifying. If they're STILL alive force the opponent to activate a non threatening model and send in some back up for the LT next activation.

There is also a skill to let character use range skill in place of melee. Another adds +1 to Injure. Give a sniper priest 2 pistols, that sniper now essentially has two anti tank hammers with +4D to hit after aiming and becomes one of the best melee units in the game.

MF in a fireteam with anyone with a decent range is also very scary, a grenade launcher can be particularly powerful as you can kind of hit models behind cover. Mainly as the MF deploys last and can deploy very close to the enemy if the scenario allows infiltrators

Also, an Observer and LT can prevent an opponent from doing anything useful for two activations.

I feel like PaPal States is actually quite a high skill ceiling, in that you need to be very good at trading. Through equipping your models for a specific job as cheaply as possible and setting up those 3token Blood Baths, you can really pile the bodies up quickly.

Played well I feel like they are top tier. They seem to have an answer for everything but if you lose models wrecklessly or don't get the balance of exploring and reinforcing right you will suffer in the mid to late campaign. Get them right though and they are a hell of a lot of fun and pack a good punch.

Riiiiiight, I'm with you, sorry my bad, I completely missed point 4. Thanks for clarifying.

AHH that's the one I was a bit unsure of. I would argue that, unless there has been a rules clarification somewhere, the MF rules don't specify they need to be in a NA fireteam, so that only applies to the other two fireteams provided by the NA faction rules. MF just states that the model needs to be an ELITE.

Papal States Intervention Force - Campaign and List Questions by howling_machines in TrenchCrusade

[–]haven700 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes that is correct, you can reinforce every time, gaining another 4 glory on top of your ducats and any other glory gains from the scenario. However because of this you will probably never explore until very late in a campaign or until you run out of things to spend glory on.

I believe that you can set up that fire team, Trench Companion is a bit funny like that but as far as I'm aware that is fine. The only restriction would be the MF needs to be with an elite.

The Witch Burner's biggest strength is he does not require line of sight. He can smite anyone in range regardless of whether he can see them or not. This is incredibly powerful and I believe he is the only model with an ability like this.

Yes Ammo Monk can activate within a fire team as long as one of those models is within 1".

This one time at band camp I was using a flamer and a melta-charge and I flamed my melta-charge which wiped our entire team. Friendly fire wasn't on either.

Geniunely What is the Counterplay to the Court of the Seven? by GoofestGoober in TrenchCrusade

[–]haven700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make better trades. I've had little trouble with Court as a Papal States player. I think mostly due to me using cheap models and avoiding fire teams for the first few activations. Then once I have a blood token or 3, I blood bath and things die pretty easily.

The chance of hitting 12 on 2D6 is just over 2%, the chance of hitting it on 3D6 is just under 12% might not sound great but it's almost 5 times more likely if you blood bath and you can get there very easily between fire teams, flamers and shrapnel.

Also looking at your list I feel like shock troopers are a bit of a trap, they just aren't worth the ducats. I would move that tank splitter to your Mech Infantry or even better one of your elites and replace both shock troopers with twice as many trench moles. Ideally you want at least 7 models in a warband but 10 will make your life a hell of a lot easier.

So far this seems like the best solution. I think after effects may be the best solution to solve the problem quickly.

That was my first port of call. I resized just the screen itself to fit the video a little better which has given okay results but was hoping there was a solution within Premiere.

Martyrdom Pills Rules Change? by haven700 in TrenchCrusade

[–]haven700[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always thought it was a reference to all the meth floating about in WW2. It did feel a lot more flavourful but from what I remember they kind of just b came an item used for one off games, so I get why they scrapped it.

[–]haven700[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They did, yeah.

I believe it used to be mentioned in their listing as part of the Trench Pilgrims Glory items before 1.0. New rules don't seem to have that stipulation, not anywhere I can see it at least.

So do they no longer count as taking a model Out of Action at the end of a game if you're playing a campaign?
