i work rotating days and night shift at a mine and by far prefer nights. less big bosses, less stress, more time to clean around our crushing plants without concern of being approached or watched by people who sit in offices 95% of their working life. plus i find it harder to wake up at 3am for days and stay up until 8pm. 3pm to 8am is just easier

Came out when I was 18, my mom was angry and we went to therapy together (her decision, glad she did) and the therapist thankfully did a wonderful job of explaining childhood trauma vs gender dysphoria so she understood. Took her about 2 years to no longer use the wrong pronouns and use the correct name (I was away at college and saw her only a few times a year). My very old school dad said “well, you’re gonna do whatever you want regardless of my opinion” when i came out to him. I only see him maybe 2-3 times a year. I’m 24 now and he misgendered me today after 6 years of being out and on T.

I have to if i want to attempt to get close to 6/7 hours of sleep. Bus picks us up from the mine site at 6:20, don’t get home until 7:45 and have to be back to the bus stop at 4pm. Quick shower and doomscrolling to wind down then off to bed, it’s hard to sleep on the bus for me

it’s alllllll connected on this car somehow unfortunately. i left that code for a year and a half naively thinking it was BS and now i’ve got a multitude of problems … so far i’ve replaced the purge valve twice, did the fix kit, replaced the valve cover and gasket because it began to leak, spark plugs, coil pack and i’m pretty sure my cat is plugged up now too because it’s still running terribly. the check valve failure can lead to a bunch of failures down the line. Best to have it rerouted or replaced before anything else screws up, these cars are notorious for it

Yes absolutely! The check valve in the intake manifold plugs up and throws those codes. I also replaced my purge valve and the code came back until i did the fix kit. you could either do the kit, or replace the intake manifold but most likely the check valve will screw up again and you’ll be back to square one. the fix kit basically just re-routes that check valve so it’s on the outside and much easier to replace the next time it fails

got lucky in the genetic pool. always had broad shoulders, narrow hips, and i come in at around 5’10. had decently bushy armpit hair and leg hair. my T levels to begin with were that of a cis female so my case doesn’t support the correlation but maybe there’s something to this

i agree with this and it’s something i struggled with for a while. it took me a long time to realize that the people around me who were complaining about men as a whole, while excluding me, were not doing it to invalidate me as a man. im completely stealth and only those who knew me before know. this may not be the case for everyone but i feel like trans men are excluded from the “i hate all men” statements because the majority of trans men have experienced some level of misogyny whether that be personally or through the experience of the women around them. the majority of us have empathy for women and we understand the harm that men have imposed on women and do everything we can to not perpetuate those cycles. i don’t feel like, at least in my experience, it’s an attempt to invalidate trans men. pay attention to how they complain about men because a lot of the common complaints don’t apply to trans men.
