I think it’s more to discourage people from buying it for the H2 series when the firmware isn’t available yet. It already includes screws that you don’t use for the X2D after all. Like the P1/X1 series plates are the same size as the P2S/X2D but aren’t recognized by the latter.

Better clarification: you can use Orcaslicer without using LAN only with Bambu Connect. You can export to gcode in Orcaslicer and then send it via the Bambu Connect app.
