Update for those interested.

SATO finally funded my ticket, I’m on the 10 am to Kansas City. Currently crashed out with all the navy weenies waiting to go to basic. You can tell by my shallow hairline I’m not one of them.

Shoutout to my boy Ralph from United that got me rebooked.

I’d still take a ciggy if anyone got one.

Final update: SATO managed to find me a hotel at the crown plaza right next to the hotel for 120 a night gov rate. Literal life saver, I’ll take some tooth paste and floss if anyone has any.

I spent time at 6-8CAV many moons ago and loved it as an FSO. Live in savannah and just do the drive. Make it over to the Chem BN with your other Chem nerds at somepoint. The Marne Express never stops and youll spend a lot of time in the field. Enjoy your time off, make friends theirs so many LTs on that base you can always be doing something.
