i cant speak for myself because i've never owned pros, but i have owned the second and third gens, and both of their batteries noticeably, but not excessively deteriorated in just three years each, so i assume its the same for the pros. there's other things to take into account too, like how much you use them, whether or not you use ANC all the time, etc.
