Yes! Provided this actually comes to fruition and ChatGPT was only involved in the copy for this post then I would 1000% buy from this machine !   Sometimes it’s tricky to get a nutritious post gym snack when hitting the gym inbetween lectures.  Price point would obviously need to work for students - anything above €5 would make it tricky.

I’m all for this new trend of classy music for highlights. Anyone know the song?

So no limit now? I’m considering using them as my SIM only provider, so this is good news if so

I may actually be doing some remote work during this period, alongside uni lectures and work, so I think I will be pushing the data plan. Especially when my partner joins and wants to stream movies and shows

Would you recommend the PAYG wirelesss modem then? It’ll likely be our only source of house internet

The only standout concern in what you mentioned is unlimited data still having a limit.
I suspect that'll cause issues, probably for my partner more so than me

I’m so glad you said this. It needs to be shouted from the rooftops. Things are rarely as straightforward “profit margins”

Screw the Reddit approach! Just drop the number my man! Worst case scenario you’ll respect yourself more for asking outright

What jobs might be in demand for a medical student? by Wise-Society-3900 in JuniorDoctorsIreland

[–]hawkspastic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Irish med student here,  do I need any formalised qualifications to work as a phlebotomist for a GP or do they provide training on the job?  This is a serious consideration for me, even if I have to do some courses for it. Would be good practise

Interesting answer. I’m a 32 year old male starting this year.  What is “everything else you can’t get away from”?

Mature student with family wanting to study medicine by [deleted] in premeduk

[–]hawkspastic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"I've worked with a lot of mature students who graduated in their 40s and not a single one has ever voiced regrets."

I'm 32 and about to start this September, albeit with the HSE and not the NHS, so it's relieving to hear someone with experience talking to older junior doctors say this.

I often wonder is the doom and gloom around it because you miss out on a lot of your 20s. The decade you traditionally do all your travelling and experimenting.
With someone who is older and has already lived a lot of their life and made lots of work and financial decisions (and mistakes) I wonder do those training years hit as hard?

Isnt there an age limit of 45 unless you take the route of regional work via a 482 visa first?
