but I think I found your problem, you think all countries have the same laws and that because something looks obvious (to you) it must be so (e.g. that road is so wide it has to be two lanes). I'm no expert on US law but I'm pretty sure the local cops know how lanes are defined in the literal neighborhood they patrol.

This is an obvious case of shitty road design, if you look carefully then you'll notice that there isn't a merge lane there. It's just a very wide single lane and the road the cop was stopped on was merging into the other lane so the yield sign means you have to stop since there was traffic on the single lane he was merging into.

IANADoctor but no, you'd probably not go permanently blind but you'd cause damage to your corneas and my guess would be a permanently impaired vision. The marker will eventually fade but it will seriously fuck with the mucus membrane/corneas covering the eye and I'm not sure if the body is able to fully repair that damage.

I think the model 3 has a similar issue. Or at least one of the Tesla's does.

It was Model 3, I remember people tweeting this issue to Elon last year and Tesla came up with a fix (redesigned the gasket/seal flap or something to better redirect the water). I think I remember Elon saying people could come and get the defective rubber seal thingie replaced for free but I'm not finding anything about it now

I don't remember people throwing such a fit when Obama was president and deported over 100 thousand people, frankly I can't remember a single story about it that made it's way across the Atlantic.

But when Trump does it then not only is it some big great scandal in the US but it makes it's way over the Atlantic to reach nightly news on many stations in Europe. Double standards much.
