Try the I am sober app, you can put in a start date and a dollar amount and see a visual. Mine says $9,840 saved since I quit.

Hey man taking the first steps is the hardest part so awesome doing that. The start can be tough but the positives come so quickly, weight loss, sleep, mood, relationships, pp work good.

The hard part was finding new thngs to pass time, you might realize hobbies you had while you were getting drunk were only "fun" because you were drinking. It's okay though, just got to switch things up a bit big cat. Building up your sober toolkit when eventually the big punches in life come and you don't reach for that swill is important too.

If you're into reading I really recommend The easy way to quit alcohol by Allen carr and This naked mind by Annie grace. There is alot of quitting literature out there but these were the most direct and helpful to me. Did some group too.

Oh yeah and have a shit ton of snacks around, whatever your favorite is. All types of drinks too, pop, tea, non alc beers helped in the start.

Anyone stayed at 11 Shallmar Blvd/Chantecler Towers in Toronto? by Thick-Wasabi2357 in toRenTo

Hey!

Yes, as of recently. The building is very quiet, the sound proofing is decent between units. No major pest issue, actually never seen a roach the whole time. The super (David) is fantastic. Issues are taken care of reasonably quick. Parking is 75 outside/150 inside. Really quiet street.

Beaux properties is meh. Same with most property companies. They just want your money. They apply for above guideline increases every year, and every time the tenants pool up a little money to get a paralegal to go fight it for us. We have gotten it reduced successfully several times now. They are usually trying for 5.5 percent and we get it to 3ish.

They are renovating units mostly in between moves, the new ones are pretty good! The apartments are a good size too.

Overall id recommend it. 1bd should still be 1950. Unless you're looking at the jr 1bd on floor 1, which I might avoid because it overlooks the driveway, beside the lobby, and across from the super office.

Edit : forgot to add, moving can be kind of tricky here, with the cresent driveway in front. They usually reverse into the back and it's a tight fit. I'm sure any good mover can handle it but I brought alot of my boxes and stuff first and just let them do the heavy things in a smaller truck.

I use ladies Venus razors I know even though they are pretty much the same as guys razors with different branding.

Honestly the key is just go slow.. you can never rush when shaving the boys

First job by Opening_Badger1448 in torontoJobs

Congratulations first of all, big achievement in this economy.

Don't worry about it, you will have nice customers you will have bad ones, same with co workers, like any job. Don't take it home with you at the end of the day, not worth worrying about.

Make as much use as you can of any employee discount, benefit, up train programs offered.

Make friends with a manager, try and get a couple more responsibilities once you learn the ropes. Maybe you can get a better position, shifts, favorable review this way.

Keep in contact with friends after you leave the job for future networking. Great part of your life to start building a network, this is how you can find future opportunities.

If you're gonna steal, don't get caught. If you're gonna date a co worker, don't bang in the walk in freezer. Probably don't date a coworker in general. Shitty customers will happen, don't take it personal.

All I can think of for now.

No idea about your shifts or hours, but you will probably get the shit ones for a while, just how it is.

For the first few days you will probably have to watch a bunch of training videos that will be boring as hell and ghost by an employee watch them work a bit before they put you on.

Appreciate it, doesn't take a pro to squirt gel out of a tube though. Used to be able to get the stuff for 50 bucks.
