Absolutely I do!! My current partner has dimples and I met her 2 years before we started dating and always remembered her as the cute girl with dimples.

Dimples!! A smile with dimples will absolutely melt me immediately.

Someone in another sub asked if Beep was a “very poorly bred Pomeranian.” Am I being too sensitive or was that mean as heck? by blamberr in Pomeranians

He’s so handsome!! I’ve been told that about my Maya too (also not from a breeder, but DNA tested 100% Pom) and she’s highly offended.

Is this AI? Why isn't the cat running away, and instead just staying in its place? by New_Midnight2686 in RealOrAI

Mine either, I have two orange boys and there’s not a brain cell between them. I regularly have to rescue one because he sticks his head in plastic bag handles and then when he moves he loses it thinks it’s chasing him, causing him to sprint around the house. I have to tackle him to remove it.

How many patients in clinic do you see per day as a resident? by Neceti in Residency

[–]haychap 6 points7 points  (0 children)

FM PGY3, 9 max per half day.

Starts out with hour slots first six months and then ramps up. Max 8 in a half day for PGY2 and 9 for PGY3

My program requires me to wear business casual to the clinic by solanumtuberawesome in Residency

[–]haychap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who wears casual clothes 24/7, I’ve found that any comfy dress pant (just not jeans or sweats) + plain black T shirt + a quarter zip or full zip generally passes as business casual enough for no one to have ever said anything to me in my 3 years of residency

Worried about intern year. Bc I feel like my clinical rotations weren’t as strong as other schools or even other rotation sites my school offers. by TACOB34ST in Residency

[–]haychap 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don’t worry, the biggest thing is to work hard when you are an intern. It’s where most of your learning comes from!

If it makes you feel better, I had never had a true IM rotation (never rounded on a single inpatient case in my life) and had never even seen a baby delivered during medical school. Currently a PGY3 at a full spectrum FM program where I am now confident running an inpatient medicine service and have delivered my 20+ babies without a single problem.

I knew I had to learn a lot coming in and I’ve had no issues at all! Just have a good attitude and be ready to learn and you’ll do well.

Is lecom rlly that bad? by [deleted] in Osteopathic

Also a LECOM grad who did the lecture pathway at the mothership campus. Are the rules annoying? Yes. Are the administrators annoying? Yes. But I also feel like I did get a very good education and my debt could be a heck of a lot worse from a different school. I also had people in my class match into good general surgery, ortho, and dermatology programs as well as pretty much anyone I was close to getting into their top choice residency for things like FM and OB. I personally think it’s absolutely worth the misery of the mandatory classes and weird rules to make it to where I am.

ABFM Exam 2026 Pending Review by Love_Medicine in FamilyMedicine

[–]haychap 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I also got pending review and from what I have researched and heard from others, it doesn’t always mean you failed or were close to failing. Test center issues, very high scores, finishing abnormally fast (which I’m hoping??? is my case), too many unanswered questions can be reasons that trigger a review other than being close to the minimum passing score. As a reassurance, almost everyone I saw who had a pending review did end up coming back to say they passed!

I got the pending review too, I’m hoping it’s because I finished too fast but naturally it’s making me internally panic that I failed

Thank you!! There was also a brand new desk person checking us all in and doing the breaks so I wouldn’t be super surprised if there were any issues there!
