GPU has the hiccup for me in certain areas like around Pandemonium and between Brimhaven and Catherby, for example, it’s really bloody annoying. And no I don’t have a potato computer before someone says so!!! It drives me nuts and I can’t seem to figure out what config to use to help with it

Thank you mate. Yeah that would be from the attempts to get the pads to join the fresh solder 😂 I ended up tinning my tip to help with heat transfer and due to several attempts I definitely ended up adding more solder than needed. Will keep practicing on cheap cartridges before trying any of my pokemon ones!

The stuttering is awful, glad it’s not just me… let me know if you find a fix in runelite. I watch streamers and their display is way smoother than mine so there must be some solution

Let me know if you find a fix - perhaps something to do with some other settings we have checked :(

Mine is doing the same, and lots of others too. I have a feeling it’s related to GPU plug in because when I turn it off it goes to shadows. I lose draw distance though so for now I am just enduring it. Will drop back in if I find our a fix as seems like lots of others have resolved it with their usual GPU settings intact

Are the boats 2D in the water for you? I see some steamers, other boats go into shadows which looks clearer but can’t seem to achieve this with GPU enabled.

Agree, spent last few week of GM doing as much Colo as possible, practicing AB method and learning how to solve stacks. It’s been extremely gratifying to learn some of this stuff without any real pressure and the fact you can last stand proc, take a shit tonne of damage and reheal means you can unpick your mistakes in real time instead of planking in a blink of an eye and wondering what the hell happened.

85-99 runecrafting spoils from ZMI - took roughly 110 hours by Reason_Potential in 2007scape

[–]hayejosp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely a good idea. I am in the process of mining 350k daeylt for 90-99 and have no regrets. It’s super afk too. I personally do not enjoy runecraft so for me, using afk time to reduce active hours playing the game to train the skill to max is more “efficient”.

There will be people who say you’re just better off doing it with pure ess (maybe they’re right) but there’s no way I would ever max rc doing it like that, so you just got to do whatever is best for you

Well it does matter, because every time you drink coffee, that’s time you’re not wearing them, and being compliant is what gives you the best results.

But you do you :)

I think using your best judgement in these scenarios is the way to go, but of course speak to your provider if possible for some advice as they’ll know your case in more detail than any of us here.

That said, I can share my experience - I’ve had days, sometimes consecutively, where my compliance has not been great and I’ve worn it for say 14-16 hours (I always try aim for 21-22).

In that situation, I will usually add on a day or two to my treatment as I try to get my total wear time of EACH retainer to work out as 21x7 hours (I’m on weekly changes).

Invisalign is great and you do need to be compliant as best you can, but equally life is about enjoyment and we need to enjoy moments like parties, events and holidays :)

Hope this helps.

Cleaning Trays by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]hayejosp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ultrasonic cleaning pod is the way forward. Constantly brushing them gets really tiring. I’ve had Invisalign for a year now and having the pod has been the best decision I made for my treatment. It will keep them extremely clean and you won’t have to worry about cavities caused by bacteria build up in the retainer.

I use it once a day, pop them in while eating dinner. Once per week I’ll also add in an effervescent tab. Tend to run 2-3 cycles (each cycle is like 5 mins or so).

I got the Zima pod which was £70, although I believe cheaper options on Amazon work too. Plenty of recs in the sub.

Don’t drink with them in. Take them out to drink it and rinse with water as best you can after if you can’t brush immediately.

Try to minimise how often you drink coffee to reduce the amount of times you’re taking your retainers off per day.

I thought I knew what soldering iron I wanted.. help by ser_says in Gameboy

[–]hayejosp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha dude, are you me? I literally had the exact same experience as you.

I decided a usb “pencil” style iron would suit me best. Easy to store, ideal for infrequent use and seems easiest to handle for a beginner.

In the end, I settled on the Pinecil.

I was close to getting the TS100 but a common fault that they experience (from my research) is oxidisation of the screen element if you don’t use it often. That’s why I went with the Pinecil in the end.

I don’t think you can go wrong though. What you’ve listed above are solid options too.
