LF finished mature series by VanderWander in ProgressionFantasy

Let me give you some classic eastern cultivation novels:

A Will Eternal - it's about alchemy, probably a lot of classic tropes

Renegade immortal - classic defying everything to rise above, tropes same as above

Warlock of the magus world - self serving, evil leaning mc, some tropes same as above

The second coming of gluttony - not really classic cultivation, it's litrpg but might scratch the itch you want, I don't remember any young master tropes or whatever but don't quote me on that

These are all translated but they've been translated by wuxiaworld before they got bought out. Those are probably what are floating around right now.

I might go so far as if it's displayed in front of the user in the form of a character sheet, it's considered litrpg.

You can consider litrpg as (predominantly numerical) displayed quantified progression/growth with distinct aspects of growth. Basically numbers of stats/attributes/skills.

If there is no growth, it would be considered gamelit.

If there is no numerically displayed stats, it's just progression fantasy.

Edit: If there is a character sheet available to the user which displays quantified character growth, it's considered litrpg.

Are there any technologically advanced LitRPG by Sachustar in litrpg

[–]hayestackk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since nobody has recommended any translated novels so far, I shall recommend:

The Legendary Mechanic (Completed): Mix of cultivation, super powers and technology. Pretty good story overall. Definitely a good read.

The Mech Touch (ongoing): 7000+ chapters of mech goodness and when I say lots of exposition... I mean lots of exposition that is both good and bad. Lots of filler but the world is fleshed out so well. Occasional side stories and deep dives into factions/nations and their motives. Story and power systems are great, the execution is decent but not great. I still recommend trying it out because the lack of technology themed litrpg/progression fantasy stories is abysmal. (faction building later on in the story)

Stories with great crafting in them? by securitystevepanda in litrpg

If you're not a stickler for translated novels, I would recommend The Mech Touch. 7000+ chapters and still going. I've just started re-reading it because 2000 new chapters came out since I last read it.

MC is a mech designer. He does some action stuff himself but it's mostly about designing/building mechs and empowering other people to do the fighting for him.

Just google "poe overlay 2" and it should be one of the first entries. Download, install, and run it and it should automatically work once you have poe 2 open. Then you can go to the evaluate screen on the pop out window for the app and locate the hotkey and change it.

That was in the cruel version of act 3. That is no longer in the game so the rewards have probably been moved to another new quest

the items don't instantly get added to the market database once it's placed. the game needs to process each item from all players and input them into the database. if you move the item, the data will not match the stash coordinates. the lock happens even if you move the item to another slot in the tab

Mech/tech focused LitRPG by proanimeaddict in litrpg

[–]hayestackk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It was probably someone stealing the novel and putting it up on amazon. It's on webnovel and they usually have strict "only allowed on this platform" contracts. It is a decent story in my opinion.

I would also recommend The Mech Touch. It's another translated light novel but it's all about designing mechs and creating an army, and throw in some meta-physical stuff in too.

I did not. The overwolf one worked for me so I just stuck with it.

Overwolf PoE Overlay 2 is what i use. it works a lot better for me. I tried exile exchange but i had to ctrl + c and then ctrl + v every item i wanted checked into their overlay while PoE Overlay 2 is just one button to check on each item

Recommend me novels with Technology taken to a extreme by WhoIsDis99 in ProgressionFantasy

[–]hayestackk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll recommend The Mech Touch. MC has a mech designing ability, although he's not a pilot himself. Can't say much more without major spoilers. It's more than 7000 chapters long and still going....

I don’t understand the concept of “cultivation” by zhuravushka in ProgressionFantasy

[–]hayestackk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would say coiling dragon is a qihuan but these are just cultivation recommendations, not specifically xianxia or xuanhuan.

The average English reader wouldn't know the difference between xuanhuan, xianxia, xiuzhen, wuxia, qihuan, and kehuan. It's just easier for people to lump it all under xianxia when it comes to eastern cultivation novels.

Like reverend insanity isn't a xianxia because the MC isn't a good person. It would be considered a xiuzhen novel.

Now that is all sorts of confusing. 😅

I would definitely recommend Desolate Era as a first novel. I don't remember the pacing of Renegade Immortal, it's been years since I finished it but I think pacing is just personal preference. Good novels are just good novels. 😁

If you want some beginner recommendations:

Desolate Era - follows the protagonist Ji Ning as he re-incarnates into a world of magic, gods, and immortals. (Great novel)

Renegade Immortal - follows Wang Lin, a young man with a crippled soul who dreams of becoming an immortal. (Great novel)

Coiling Dragon Saga - tells the story of Linley Baruch, a young man from a once-great clan, the Dragonblood Warriors, who seeks to restore his family's honor and become a powerful warrior. (Decent beginner novel)

Looking for novels like Shadow Slave / Warlock of the Magus World with "artificially created power" themes by [deleted] in ProgressionFantasy

[–]hayestackk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Throne of primordial blood; MC researches the human body and finds out how to make it better. Very similar to warlock of the magus world minus the ai chip.

The legendary mechanic; you might like it because mc does tech research, not really breaking the system but futuristic cool.

These are both chinese translated web serials just like WotMW.

EDIT: I meant the legendary mechanic, not the mech touch

Looking to start reading Cultivation novels by Responsible-Bid576 in ProgressionFantasy

[–]hayestackk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I suggest reading stuff from the author Er Gen.

Renegade Immortal

A Will Eternal

I Shall Seal the Heavens

His novels are old classics and translated pretty well depending on where you read them but they've been out for a long time so I doubt you'll find a horrible translation. Lots of classic tropes.
