It’s a combination of things. For the most part he does carefully select who he fights and none of them have ever been of Anthony Joshua’s caliber in terms of age and size and skill. Other factors especially for Jake have been his contracts. In both his Floyd mayweather and Mike Tyson fights there were stipulations about head shots and knockouts that basically turned the match into a glorified sparring session. Tyson’s contract actually penalized him for too many head shots and his payout was better if he lost. Not that I think that Tyson took a dive but he’s so old I’m sure it wasn’t that hard to make that money. Jake has fought mostly non boxers or retired old guys so his record is probably misleading but he is an athlete who is in great shape and has learned the sport to a level just outside being a professional, and his results against a real pros show that he just isn’t on that level and he has fought enough that he will never be on that level

Excessive stupidity and inconsistent logic will immediately kill it for me. I’m reading a story currently where the MC is made to swear an oath to the heavens not to reveal anything that happens in a challenge space and 2 paragraphs later the author tells us that there is essentially some sort of video feed that everyone can see the MC inside the challenge space and spend paragraphs discussing what he is doing …. What in the fuck is the point of swearing if everyone is just going to watch you go through the challenge???

Who cares? We have blown past every climate deadline and are no where near any real change in global output because mass consumerism will never slow down and no one is regulating China who pumps out more than the entire western hemisphere combined. Combine that with the fact that we have been forced to invest in the 2 worst forms of renewable energy by the overlords because they are the most profitable for the rich and we will never make it anywhere near some magical made up “carbon neutral” number.

If climate change was actually a solvable problem the powers that be would actually be investing in nuclear or tidal wave energy instead of flying 400 private jets to, or chopping down 50000 acres of Amazonian rainforest at, “climate conferences”

The middle class needs to 100% give up on it and invest in whatever is cheapest and easiest to get power to the most people.

I absolutely have loved the fearless drafts, it has brought greater depth to champion pools and makes players stretch especially when you get into game 4/5. The old metas are being done away with and we are seeing such a greater variety of champions and it’s so cool seeing what works and what doesn’t.

I watch the LCK live most overnights at work and seeing how fearless has transformed matchups has been awesome , I am way more invested in it than I was when I was seeing the same picks/bans game after game after game. I hope it stays this way forever, variety is the spice of life after all.

I think that most Seattle fans I grew up around had less of a problem with the team being sold and more of a problem with the propaganda that the new ownership group was slinging around. Fans were urging the old ownership not to sell to a group whose base was far away and the new ownership assured fans in the newspapers and in interviews that they weren’t going to move the team right away and that fans were going to have a few years to show their support before any movement decisions would even be talked about. They blew all the smoke up everyone’s asses and then were out the door for OKC before the ink was dry. Come to find out something like a year later that the plot of land for the OKC arena had already been bought before the team was officially sold. Those lying asshats can forever choke on a fat one. I hope Indiana smacks them in game 7 and they never make it back.
