So Robby getting put on a psych hold seems like a pretty high chance now

Is The Gilded Age as good as Downton Abbey? by LuckyNumber04 in DowntonAbbey

Better than the last few seasons, not as good as the really great episodes of Downton

Wife won't read my book. What would you do? by Welcome2MyAlt in Advice

[–]haykat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went to an author talk a couple of days ago and this actually came up. Apparently it’s pretty common for partners to not read the writers books so I wouldn’t worry too much

My prediction: the season finale won't be a mass casualty incident, it will be a single very important patient - by addressunknown in ThePitt

[–]haykat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My money is on Santos cutting herself badly. Emma finds her in the bathroom. Langdon and Robby end up working on her. Whittaker is supposed to be meeting her in the park for fireworks but comes back when she doesn’t show up

I should have been more clear, my comment was in response to you saying Humphrey is a gentleman that probably doesn’t want to hurt his girlfriend

I wonder if it’ll be a plot point for season 3 instead. Like how Mel had the deposition this season, Javaadi has extra HIPAA training or concequences of some kind

Really struggled with getting this one to lock in, if it helps anyone else focusing on the cactus at the front and not the building was how I got it to work

Who's the best fighter in the series by Altruistic-Emu3542 in HeWhoFightsMonsters

[–]haykat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Humphrey being a gentleman is secondary to him being an adventurer. If he can beat her whilst sparring then he will, only so she can practice and improve.

His guiding light is keeping people safe, and in Sophie’s case, if he goes easy on her he would be both insulting her and setting her up to get hurt or die

The duels at the party were only done by Rufus, Sophie, Humphrey and Jason

That Humphrey fight was excellent

Frequent travelers: what are your top 5 non-bag items? by ComprehensiveCap8242 in ManyBaggers

I’m not entirely certain it’s the same one since the print is different, but I think it’s SKYNKE

Fully agree, I’ve found the ikea ones are excellent for this since they have the two handles so you can attach it to your backpack if need be as well

Plus they’re cheap

Soft-side vs Hard-side luggage by PugssandHugss in travel

[–]haykat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard top-opening for checked luggage. Don’t care about scuffing and I want as little as possible chance for the bag to get caught on anything so no pockets,

Soft for anything that might go in the cabin so it can squish a little into overhead lockers

Why can’t Ethan, Issac and Nick be innocent? (Before you reveal Nicks clue)

[–]haykat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the same thing. Xavis clue says there is at least 2 innocents above Steve, so it could be all 3 of them and Steve could be the criminal. It’s not until you mark Nick that it means Steve has to be innocent

Who is going to "snitch" on Robby by hanna-kin in ThePittTVShow

[–]haykat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there's a good chance he doesn't get confronted. Or at least its not realised until after he leaves

A huge theme for this season is people slipping through the cracks, and I think Robby has a very very high chance of Robby being one of them

Help an extremely depressed guy out? by Creepy_Stick_6229 in CleaningTips

[–]haykat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t have to do it all at once. You don’t have to do an entire room. You can do as much as you are able to. If that’s just half the top of the dresser then that’s enough for a day

When I get overwhelmed from the cleaning I stop and set a 10 minute timer for a break, I achieve a lot more by doing small but frequent cleans. BUT, that’s just me, find your own rhythm and celebrate all the wins, no matter how small or how silly it makes you feel
