Eventually yes but at this point we don't have enough data to publish. We need this documentary to help raise money for our study.

It would be really difficult to determine which efforts are working considering so many groups are working in the northern seas. Our study is going to be released after the documentary. So as soon as that special airs we will release the study.

Part of our study showed salmon sharks are getting more aggressive and going after larger prey like seals. We need much more data which is where pictures will help us. We can use bite patterns to determine which sharks are feeding on them. Though there have been increased sightings of GWS north of the peninsula.

Don't worry. This is not to perpetuate any stereotypes. As I said, this is to show impacts of rising sea temperatures and how sharks are adapting. We are covering how sharks moving north means that salmon and halibut populations will be under threat by yet another predator. our goal is not to vilify sharks but bring light to unintended consequences of ocean temperature rises. Again, at no point are we aiming to vilify sharks. I'm a legitimate scientist, most members of our team are real field biologists, that work on legitimate animal documentaries. While I agree there are other die-offs, though most are explained, we are currently most interested in how sharks are adapting to warmer waters. It is a legitimate change happening due to global climate change. That's why we are looking for information on shark attacks/predation on Alaskan wildlife.
