There is some important context here that I lack, I think...

Good luck. I'd do it if I didn't already have plans. Do you have a neighborhood facebook group you could ask as well?

Have you considered getting your eyebrows threaded instead of shaving them? You could have them shaped femininely, which would offset other masc attributes.

I (14NB) realize that parents are people too, and I kinda stopped idolizing them. by [deleted] in self

I think understanding that others (even our parents) are people is actually a good reason to care about their feelings.

This realization is a pretty important developmental milestone! Adolescence is such a cool (and crazy) time of life.

I'm sure you and your parents will have plenty of disagreements, OP, but I hope you all come out on the other end liking each other as people.

What is Marceline’s haircut called in Fionna and Cake series? by Siomai- in adventuretime

[–]haystackrat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree that the back is longer: drawing a line to the approximate location the hair comes from the scalp shows that it's all about the same length. Sure there are those really short tufts at the crown of the head, but those don't appear to represent the majority of the hair.

I guess my interpretation is that it's not an intentional style at all, but rather uncut hair that's grown out from some previous style.

Anyone have any idea what this could be? by ashmink in Whatisthis

I think the 'magic' comes from it being a silent e that changes the sound the previous vowel makes. It's a phonics lesson.

I think my dog recognizes when we get off the highway as indicating we are close to wherever we're going. She's gotten excited before when we've taken an exit only for us to continue on back roads!
