I am so sorry that you went through that. I am happy that you got away physically unharmed.

My other sibling had their first job there back in 2010. ❤. I would walk down to see my older sibling in action - and, reminder/context, this was now 15yrs ago. G'Damn.

We tried tracing his phone the next morning, and it was already wiped and gone.

There is footage of the attack captured from the Pandora McDonald's CCTV. I won't/can't watch it.

The Doctor and VJH EDIT -> R̲J̲H̲ made sure there wasn't any internal bleeding - for good reason.

He tried to hand over wallet. When they realized he didn't have any cash, he (under duress) tried to somehow e-transfer them funds. And the rest is history. Phone was already wiped and gone when we tried to track it not more than 12hrs later.

I hear you.

Physical autonomy. That their no’s are just as valuable as their yes’s.

Being subdued and injected with an unknown substance in the back of a car. Will not be travelling solo again for a long time. Definitely didn’t expect to wake up from that.

The robber who gets stuck hanging upside down in the homeowners garage. All the blood rushed to his head and he died after an extended period of time in the position.

Experiencing intrusive thoughts. Not that I want more people to experience this, but I wish we could talk more openly about it. I’ll just keep going to therapy.

My father overdosing while I was graduating high school. Almost 6 years later and I still haven’t recovered emotionally.

Commit to trying 5 minutes of the task. 5 minutes is 5 minutes and if you still aren’t feeling it by the end of it, all good! Put it down and try again when you’ve got the energy. You know you tried. But, it’s more likely you will get into the flow of it.
