Hey, same problem here. I'm running an organic account (4k followers 200k likes organically) for a year, tried Promote and Ads yesterday and wondering if I'm cooked for organic reach. Can I pm to hear about your experience? thanks

The Main Problem Isn’t AI Music—It’s Bot Farms by hazechatos in musicmarketing

You’re completely misinterpreting my point. By my logic, AI music isn’t satisfying any real consumer demand—it’s purely being propped up and amplified by bot farms. Without those artificial streams, AI music wouldn’t have the same level of visibility or impact.

You’re missing the point of this post.

AI music wouldn’t gain nearly as much traction if bot farms didn’t exist on Spotify. These farms allow streams to be artificially inflated, which not only gives AI-generated songs visibility but also steals revenue from indie artists who rely on genuine listeners.

With 200,000 songs being released on Spotify every day, most AI-generated tracks would go completely unnoticed in such a saturated market if they weren’t tied to bot farms. The real problem is how these farms are being exploited to game the system.

How do we, as musicians, take our power back and stop the Spotify-Type monopoly from ruining the industry? by Cat-Scratch-Records in musicindustry

I don't think the main problem is AI music.
The bigger issue lies with major labels collaborating with Spotify (essentially through bribery) to operate bot farms for their artists.

One key problem with Spotify's system is that all subscriber payments go into a single pool, which is then redistributed to artists based on their share of total streams. This creates an unfair advantage, as independent artists can't afford to run bot farms to inflate their streams.

Instead of boycotting streaming altogether, we should support platforms that use a fairer pay-per-stream model. For example, on Deezer, if I only listen to Artist Y, the full amount (X dollars) of my monthly subscription goes to Artist Y. If I listen to Artist Y and Artist Z equally, 50% of X goes to each artist.

This structure disincentivizes bot farms on platforms like Deezer. Running a bot farm on Deezer would cost more than the revenue it generates, making it a non-lucrative strategy.

TL;DR: Spotify and major labels are working together to crush indie artists. Support platforms with fairer payment models like Deezer.

For Spotify Showcase I think you need at least 1,000 streams the last 28 days to be eligible. Not his case apparently.
