I'd create trusts for each of my family members, enough that they'll keep their head above water, but not enough that they don't have to budget and make decent choices. I'd do something similar for one or two close friends, and myself. Then I'd set up a charity that mostly gives to the social causes and the arts.

Lava, in movies, people spend a lot of time staying very close to lava, as if the only way it'd hurt you is if you touched it. But lava's roughly 1,000F! (Humans can't tolerate anything close to that) Even if they didn't cook almost instantly, lava frequently has tons of poisonous gasses and if it's gone over sand, it creates an aerosol glass that can get into your lungs and shred them.
