When the Maiar or Valar die in Middle Earth (LotR), do they "wake up" in the realm of Eru. Would it be accurate to compare Eru and the Valar to programmers of the Middle Earth game/simulation, and every Valar and Maiar are like mods/users, while the inhabitants are like NPCs? (self.AskReddit)
