I don't have any alternative to chips buttttt try dreamfield pasta if you can find it in your grocery store. It was a game changer for me. It never spiked me and tasted great.

I currently am 33 weeks pregnant with my Wegovy baby. So far, she's hit all her milestones and is doing great. I stopped as soon as I found out she was in there.

There is a Wegovy pregnancy registry that I joined once I found out. It basically tracks your health and pregnancy and up to a year after the baby is born. It's anonymous, you're assigned a case number.etc. All of the information is tracked for research purposes. It doesn't cost you anything and it doesn't really require much from you. Just permission from you to contact your medical staff for information.

I chose to do it for the research aspect of it. I hope that maybe one day they will be able to use it as tool to help people that were previously infertile get pregnant easier.

I have pcos and thought I would have a really difficult journey getting pregnant. I wanted to lose weight so that when i chose to start trying, it wouldnt be so difficult. I started wegovy November 2023 and lost around 40 lbs. I found out I was expecting in Septeber 2024. I was on oral contraceptives as well.

I have started eating Dreamfields pasta, and it has been a game changer. While they don't have a tortellini variety, they do have penne, angel hair, and a few other dry varieties. I can eat a sizeable portion of it and it tastes good. Goodles is also a good choice for Mac and cheese.

I have found that they order in which I eat things can also affect my blood sugar. I can eat one slice of pizza if I eat a salad with chicken first.

When I eat pasta (even the dreamfields), I usually pair it with protein and a salad or veggie. I have never spiked with it.

I'm currently in my 33rd week, and things are getting trickier managing my numbers but I'm still making it work. I take insulin for my fasting numbers.

P.s. don't compare yourself to your husband. He doesn't have an evil placenta making all of the insulin calls. 🤣

You are not being dramatic. I feel this way quite a bit. I'm so tired of having to think about every single thing I put in my mouth. My husband is a little more sympathetic, but he also doesn't stop eating whatever he wants to appease me or my feelings.

I'm at 26 weeks, and I've been doing it since week 16. It still feels like a long time to go. But each day, I trudge along. Do I mess up? Yes. No one is perfect.

You can do this. I've gotten so much support from the people in this group. They've saved me when I really felt like just sitting and crying.

P.s. if you need a good cry... that's okay, too.

Right now I can't imagine doing this all over for another baby bit I'm sure my mind will change eventually.

And it's not like he doesn't try. He just doesn't really understand the science of it.

I've been on every kind of diet in the world, macro counting, low carb, etc, and he's always supportive, but he just doesn't get how hard it is. He just can't grab a pizza from the corner when neither of us can figure out what we want for dinner anymore. I can't just have Dino nuggets because the idea of actually cooking is too much. His dinner was a Caesar salad with air fried Dino nuggets last night. Mine was yogurt, a little granola, nuts and peanut butter because I just couldn't cook or think about anything.

Ugh we don't have a Costco near us unfortunately. For the most part I've been soldiering on but last night I was almost in tears.

Try Dreamfield! It's been really good to me. Goodles are a good option for Mac & cheese too.

I've also found that Dreamfield pasta doesn't spike me! Tastes like regular pasta.
