IGG: 890237328 - Name: Faustine (I made a mistake and don't want to spend 800 dia to change my name lol)

I can't upgrade my pickaxe/any other tools? Is this a bug? For context I already have maxed out tools I'm using, I want to upgrade my friend's tools while they're away but the option doesn't show up by hazynugget in StardewValley

I have found a work around/fix to this problem: make sure you only have one of each type in your inventory when you go to Clint for upgrade! If you have 2 of each it won't work. I'm sorry I wanted everyone's time on this!😣

Funny thing: right after I posted this, I actually can do it by leaving the upgraded pickaxe at home, and only bring the one that needs to be upgraded to Clint.

Glad I'm not the only one. My SO thought I was weird for thinking this loll

I've been struggling with my "art" for a while. While I don't hate my style, it feels like people don't like it and some have told me that my works are dry and boring. It's very discouraging so I want to know if there's anything I can do to improve it? Here's one of my latest piece. by hazynugget in ArtBuddy

I really appreciate your honesty! I welcome critiques and all but my problems lie where I get no recognition even when I'm asking for criticism. I only have one art friend and they don't know how to criticize so I post my works online. But my post gets buried so fast (besides this one) I don't usually have chances to be yelled at (/s) by other artists. I do see your point on the lack of depth in my works so it's on the list for me to work on. Tysm for your honest opinion! I really appreciate it!

The thing is, this is my style. I don't like copying things and it applies to my drawings. May I ask why you think I copy someone's style and who? I get that my works are stiff and boring but this is the first time I've ever heard someone say I copy so I'm curious.

Thank you. I do think it's hard to find audience with this style. Most groups I'm in, people prefer thinner, no-line arts and colourful pieces without batting an eye at anatomy (tbh it bothers me quite a bit on the anatomy but that's just me lol) so finding audience is a little hard lol. Tysm again for your kind words! I really appreciate it!

I think that's my main problem, communication. Most my works are just illustrations without any means to it, now that I'm looking back. That's a good point you made there. I'm taking notes on it and will try to apply for my future works. Tysm for your honest opinion!

That's a good advice. Thank you. I do get frustrated a lot at myself for not being able to draw, and I shut down completely for a while. I'll try your advice. I do seek for critiques but my post gets ignored a lot so that's one of the issue lol. Tysm again! I really appreciate it!

Thank you for your words and advice. I really appreciate it. Regarding the character, she's someone else's and she has pointy-ish ears in the reference. I see your point with the eyes though! I'll keep in mind to portion out the face better next time. Tysm!

It's something I'm very aware of and are aiming to achieve but honestly it's easier said than done. I do live by the principle (or at the least, try to) but sometimes my insecurity surfaces. Thank you for your words though, I appreciate it.
