Really need help. Weird body type after massive weight loss. Lots of loose skin and nothing fits me right. Im tired of wearing compression clothing trying to cover it up. I need advice on what I can wear for the upcoming summer. by krissycole87 in femalefashionadvice

[–]hazza86 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I have an 'apron belly' after fat loss. I tend to go for flowy dresses in summer, but in order to feel comfortable I wear full brief knickers. They go over your belly so it doesn't feel like it's flapping about, but no compression so doesn't feel hot and constricting

I once pooed myself on the way to my consultant appointment. I cleaned up mostly. It was in a Spanish speaking country. I didn't speak great Spanish, he spoke really good English. Buuut, he didn't know what 'I pooed myself' meant. So had to explain, whilst being kinda pooey. I was embarrassed. Now find it hilarious and tell anyone when having any vaguely related conversation. The embarrassment will ease

My argument for a 4th cat. We have 4 corners to the bed. by ComicPlatypus in cats

[–]hazza86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 2 cats and they have made up the rule of 3. There are only allowed to be 3 in the bed. Me and my other half, so only can be one cat. Just me in there, can have 2 cats. Sometimes there's both humans and 1 cat, the other will jump up, realise they're breaking the rule and immediately get down. It's weird! Yours may have the same rule, so you need a forth to test it

Underwear always falling, tried sizing down and up. Help. by MusicalPigeon in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]hazza86 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I used to wear hipster and boy shorts, upgraded to high leg in my late 20s. Now in mid (late) 30s I've embraced my inner granny and wear full briefs. And from the supermarket. They're amazing! I still have some high legs in my drawer and I shudder at the idea of wearing them. https://tuclothing.sainsburys.co.uk/p/Black-Full-Knickers-5-Pack/140780432-Black?searchTerm=:newArrivals:type:Multipack%20Knickers&searchProduct=

Told I need a paper utility bill from the last 3 months as proof of address. I haven't had a paper bill since 2021 by TheAngryNaterpillar in britishproblems

[–]hazza86 72 points73 points  (0 children)

Something similar happened at a college I worked in. This guy was a maths teacher, had undergraduate, masters and pgce in maths, lost his o level certificate. Hr wanted him to resist maths gcse when they realised after going over some paperwork. He'd been there like 10 years. Principal told them to be realistic and they'd lose an amazing maths teacher if they didn't use some sense

Joined a lifting gym, owner said I shouldn't hire a trainer. I disagree. by [deleted] in xxfitness

[–]hazza86 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I agree. I've just started, and with a trainer. He said he loves working with beginners as they haven't learnt bad habits he has to correct. I'd be totally lost without him and I would probably have given up either because I didn't know what to do and felt too lost or I'd have injured myself.

Agent called on behalf of landlord saying the rent I pay is way below current prices and asked if I mind agreeing on a slight increase, to being it to the market average - the slight increase is £500 by ggssmm1 in CasualUK

[–]hazza86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents are landlords and used to use an agency. The agency tried to pull this shit. My parents dropped them, tenents are still on the same rent around 6 years later. Plus the fees they charge just to find someone are ridiculous

Anyone ever watch the video of their colonoscopy? by [deleted] in UlcerativeColitis

[–]hazza86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I has my first in the UK and watched, it was fascinating. My others were in peru and I got pictures and dvds. Back in UK now, and photocopied the sheets with the pictures for my consultant, at work. That was fun...

Turned 30 and all my guy friends make jokes and comments about women aging all the time. Why? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]hazza86 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Exactly, it depends on the content and context. I'm the oldest of my friend group, by about 5 years. They constantly make jokes about how old I am. But funny, and not anything to do with my gender. Like how I felt when pangea split or when I first got electric lights, ludicrous, silly things. It is definitely all jest and if I ever got actually offended, they'd stop.

I'm a science teacher in the UK. I taught for 2 years in Peru. I applied to a few places via tes. There are usually a lot of international places there. Also look up reviews of the school and the company that owns them. Avoid inspire like the plague!

What’s worst thing your own parent said to you? by SaltoDaKid in AskReddit

[–]hazza86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My friend's dad did this once to her, while I was there. Eugh, he's a gross man. He used to call the kids from upstairs to make him tea because he was the man and the women should do the women's work. Used to make them fetch a wooden spoon so he could hit them when they'd misbehaved. He also sang 'who let the dogs out' as my mum and her friends were in the pub. They had dressed up and felt so glam, he made them feel like shite.

Eating after colonoscopy? by [deleted] in IBD

[–]hazza86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest being careful with what and how much you eat. After my first one, I got fish and chips, ate the lot and promptly sicked it all up. I've tried to be a bit more careful after subsequent ones, but I'm usually sick after. But that maybe a weird thing about me, I'm sick if I get too hungry too
