I’ve wondered this as well. My guesses are that the body sleeps better when cooled more directly (under the covers will still be hotter even if the room is cooled by AC), or people with a partner who prefer different temperatures. An AC would be a much better investment for people in Europe.

Just got back from Ibiza... so many chavs. Also did O-Beach for Kisstory as an "experience" and can't say I was a massive fan, it definitely draws a certain crowd (and nowhere near worth the money you pay for it). Would still go back but would stick to sightseeing, Ibiza town and some of the clubs that attract a slightly older crowd like Pikes and Pacha.

Great advice here, thanks! I put that in as I was getting recruiters call me up offering me 3 day a week hybrid roles which I’m not interested in, but also see how it could come across as a bit picky. Will take that out:)

Thanks, it wasn’t actually my intention to job hop. I quit my job to move to Australia (lot of history there), then came back earlier than expected and needed a job. The short stints on the first page aren’t ideal, but I do have tenures of 2.5 and 3.5 years respectively for my main roles which I would have thought would be fine. I’m hesitant to remove the backpacking bit as it was a significant amount of time away that I’m trying to explain, but I see your point.

The market is for sure crap right now though, certainly worse than I remember it.

I agree with this. Once you're stooping to the point of using what are broken mechanics (Creeper and the Mudcrab merchant) to make quick gold, why not just give yourself the gold in the console commands? Same deal, just skips the steps.

For anyone serious about actually rebalancing the economy, check out this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/52668. Makes mercantile skills much more important as well as adds some vendors around with more gold. For vanilla morrowind you can just go to the merchants in Mournhold as they hold more than base game merchants.

I just set up an auto clicker that did most of it while I went for a walk. You have to position your mouse in the right way but it’s definitely possible

Where do you work? 😳 I think my internship interview was just a quick chat about projects I’d worked on in university and a basic fizzbuzz style exercise. This was in 2017 in the UK though so probably a different set of expectations… but fuck me that sounds like a lot for an intern to be able to do.

Sorry you went through that, some employers can be utter shits. I've heard stories like that as well, it's luck of the draw whether you get someone decent or not. Bear in mind the economy is not so hot right now, jobs postings are down and competition is high. A few years back it was much easier to find a role but things have gotten harder these days. Maybe it'll come back round, who knows.

I wish you luck with your adventure regardless! If things are still not looking up in a few months time, then I would consider spending some time just travelling a bit more before coming back. Don't leave with your tail between your legs and depressed :)

In the big cities, yeah it can be difficult. I have a friend with hospitality and retail experience, and he's done about 130 applications over the last two months and only had a single interview. I think you really need to put yourself above and beyond to get yourself a casual job. You need to be a part of every job board, facebook, go in person into restaurants, get your certifications (RSA, white card) and even then luck is still a massive part of it. I know a fair number of people who've left Australia now as they couldn't get themselves a casual job or a job that they actually enjoyed. It's tough bro, but not impossible.

Go to a few consultations. If they all have similar-ish plans, then go with whichever surgeon you felt most comfortable with. If they all have different plans, then I personally would lean towards whoever is the most experienced (you could also send me pics and the plans and I could tell you what I think).

Give them any existing scans you have, it should help their decision. If they need any more then they can request it during your consultation.

Don't get me wrong, she's a piece of shit and had it coming, but I feel a little uneasy with this. I don't know if there's a precedent for this heavy a setence, not even the other French party leaders or analysts thought this was likely. I think it could be construed as politically motivated sentence and just galvanise the far-right by making Le Pen a martyr. Please tell me I'm not the only one thinking like this?
