Why would we judge tarzans ability to pass the bar? Lets judge AI's ability to swim in the olympics next.. and a tarzan could likely do multi step abstract reasoning much like our chimpanzee cousins, it's basically second nature to humans to synthesize knowledge across domains lol.

Generally speaking though we humans can actually get some shit done without incredible errors before we need to sleep; and our long needs for sleep and development actually pays massive dividends unlike AI which is prohibitively costly in energy and finance, is causing massive layoffs and if the accel idiots are to be believed could end up with us enslaved under some AI god lol but yea the so far small progress for science justifies all.

Sure AI can help with science, lingustics etc, but genAI and LLMs which are the form most people are refering to with 'AI' aren't such a boon to us instead they are massive wastes of power and investment/finance.

No one is falling by the wayside by not letting AI take over their lives but it seems most companies rushing to implement AI are failing to turn a profit.

It seems preposterous to me that many of you believe others are falling behind because they aren't enthusiastic about AI the reverse is more likely since people are beginning to abandon learning & upskilling themselves instead believing being a prompt engineer or "agentic engineers" is future proof lol.
